BSSDO IN ALL:
BSSDO is a nonprofit and non political organization working for the social welfare of Afghans since 2011. The aim of BSSDO is to support needy people and build income – generating capacity of mine affected disabled, women, widows, orphans and street children. Its main activities are
• Promote Human Rights, Gender Mainstreaming and community access to justice
• Peace Building and Conflict mediation
• Health Education
• Education both civic and basic literacy
• Legal right Education
• Vocational Training and Income Generation Activities
• Developing women and youth capacity (capacity building).

BSSDO BACKGROUND
Women, especially in developing countries like Afghanistan, are highly deprived of their rights. They are looked as second s*x and the lowest of human beings having no right in their houses and community. They are given no right of education, participation and decision making in the house or community affairs. Hundreds of women died because of not having a series of health education or access to doctors or medicine when they are pregnant or in poor health condition. In order to overcome the inequitable condition and problems which are afghan poor people are facing we came together to find a way to get in touch with the most deprived people in the community and make them aware of their rights. We wanted to form an NGO (organization) officially
By the grace of Allah we started to work, for reaching the aim, just as a program with a small amount of financial resources from our salaries and fund raising from sensible women under the name of BELGA SERVICE, SOCIAL AND DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION (BSSDO). BSSDO was established to rehabilitate and develop afghan Men & women skills in the field of administration, civil, education, social, health, and economic by conducting workshop, seminars and vocational trainings. Besides its aim was to regulate and establish contacts with governmental and nongovernmental organizations and create income generation centers for widows and poor women. And to provide a resource to Afghan men, women and children to help them to be empowered, economically independent, and socially active. VISION OF BSSDO
A developed Afghanistan where all women have full access to their rights accepted by the national and international conventions and where women are economically independent and where women have a significant role in the development of the country. And BSSDO believes that; a society can be holistically developed and prosper when its people are aware and are able to determine their own destiny, both socially and economically
MISSION STATEMENT OF BSSDO
Contributing in development of a physical society and better atmosphere for learning so that every child, youth, man and woman follow their education effectively as well as encouraging them to take active part in building a safe environment and society. BSSDO provides its services in a transparent, gender sensitive and professional manner to common man, civil society organizations and government. BSSDO is working to empower economically women and girls of the community through providing capacity building training in formal and informal ways especially of production and income generation nature
