Story of Fatima Bibi
Patient ID: WFC-17-0024
Fatima Bibi (24) D/o Abdur Rahman (56) belongs to a poor family of Kunduz Province Afghanistan. Her story begins one year back, when one day she was busy working in her farms as usual; she came within the range of a hunter’s shotgun. Consequently she got her right arm severely injured a bit above of the elbow joint. She was obviously disheartened when surgeons eventually decided to remove her arm from the point she got it injured. After lost her arm, she felt she was the most unfortunate person in the world!
A few days ago, one of her relatives told her about DM-Aid/AFA Walking Future Center’s activities he has noticed on the social media. She decided to contact them for assistance. After making a communication with WFC, she was guided how to be able to receive an artificial arm.
