Empowering Orphan Girls Through Education | Nangarhar, Afghanistan

Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization (OCAWO) is committed to providing orphaned children with access to quality education and a brighter future.

Located in Bati Kot District, Nangarhar Province, this educational center for girls has the capacity to accommodate 600 orphaned students across two shifts, creating valuable learning opportunities for girls who deserve a better future.

Clean Water, Renewed Hope – Well No. 130
Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization has successfully completed Water Well No. 130 in Brook Village, Rodat District, Nangarhar Province, providing the community with access to clean drinking water.

Well No. 129 has been successfully completed by Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization in Sayed Abad District, Maidan Wardak Province, and has now been made available for public use.

The people of Arabkhel village had been facing serious challenges due to a lack of clean drinking water. After the local elders approached us and shared the community’s urgent need, we coordinated with our generous supporters to help provide a sustainable source of clean water for the community.

With the completion of this water well, local families and community members can now access clean drinking water more easily, helping address one of their long-standing basic needs.

We sincerely thank all our supporters and well-wishers whose contributions made this project possible.

May Allah accept this effort as Sadaqah Jariyah and grant abundant rewards to everyone who contributed to providing clean water and hope to this community. Ameen.

5 More Orphans and Their Guardians in Nangarhar Province Received Small Businesses Through the Qarz-e-Hasana Program!
Alhamdulillah, following a careful assessment and the necessary guidance provided by the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization, 5 more orphans and their direct guardians in Nangarhar Province were provided with small businesses through the Qarz-e-Hasana Program.
The newly established businesses include:
• Grocery Shops (2 businesses)
• Tailoring
• Children's Clothing Cart
• Electrical Appliances Shop
Through this program, each eligible beneficiary receives an interest-free loan of approximately 20,000 AFN, enabling them to start a small business, become self-reliant, and reduce the economic challenges faced by their families.
The beneficiaries gradually repay the loan by depositing between 1,500 and 2,000 AFN per month into the bank account of the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization until the full amount has been repaid. This is a Qarz-e-Hasana (interest-free loan), and no additional charges, fees, or interest are collected from any beneficiary under this program.
Alhamdulillah, with the establishment of these 5 new businesses, the total number of small businesses established through this program has now reached 346.
This program is exclusively designed for orphans and their direct guardians and will continue to provide more vulnerable and unsupported families with opportunities to achieve self-reliance.

Small Businesses Established for Four More Orphans and Their Guardians Through the Qarz-e-Hasana Program in Kabul Province!
Alhamdulillah, following a careful assessment and the necessary awareness sessions, the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization has established and handed over small businesses to four more orphans and their direct guardians in Kabul Province through the Qarz-e-Hasana Program.
The established businesses include:
1. Grocery Shops (Two Businesses)
2. Fruit Shop
3. Children's Clothing Cart
Through this program, each eligible beneficiary receives an interest-free loan of approximately 20,000 AFN to enable them to start a small business, become self-reliant, and reduce the economic challenges faced by their families.
The beneficiaries will gradually repay the loan by making monthly payments of between 1,500 and 2,000 AFN to the bank account of the Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization until the full amount has been repaid. This is a Qarz-e-Hasana (interest-free loan), and no additional charges, fees, or interest are taken from any beneficiary under this program.
Alhamdulillah, with the establishment of these four new businesses, the total number of small businesses established through this program has now reached 341.
This program is specifically designed for orphans and their direct guardians and continues to provide more vulnerable families with opportunities to achieve self-reliance and financial independence.

دوه کلن راپور!!
د قرض الحسنه یا Interest-Free Loan پروګرام د ۲۰۲۴ کال په جولای میاشت کې پیل شو او الحمدلله د ۲۰۲۶ کال په اګست میاشت کې یې دوه کاله بشپړ شول.
په دې موده کې ټولو هغو درنو ملګرو چې د دې پروګرام د پرمختګ او بریالیتوب لپاره یې هڅې او زحمتونه ګاللي، د زړه له کومې مننه کوم.
په ځانګړې توګه محترم ډاکتر صاحب مهربان چې د رهبرۍ، لارښوونې او مشورې په برخه کې یې ډېرې هڅې او زحمتونه ګاللي دي. کور یې ودان.
همدارنګه له عبدالحمید عمري، حاجي صاحب نعمت الله کاکړ، شمس الحق امینزي، ظاهر خان ځاځي، انعام الرحمن فضلي، احمد جاوید میوند، عجب خان عیسی خیل، شیر احمد موسی زي، انجنیر شیرمحمد، عبدالفواد غیور او ټولو نورو هغو ملګرو څخه د زړه له کومې مننه کوم چې په ډېر اخلاص، صداقت او ژمنتیا یې په دې پروګرام کې کار کړی او لا هم خپلو هڅو ته دوام ورکوي.
له ټولو څخه ډېره زیاته مننه کوم. الله پاک دې ستاسو په مال، اولاد، عمر او ژوند کې برکت واچوي او ستاسو ټولې هڅې او خدمتونه دې د خپل دربار کې قبول کړي.

Two-Year Report
The Qard Hasan, or Interest-Free Loan Program, was launched in July 2024, and Alhamdulillah, it completed two years in August 2026.
I would like to sincerely thank all the colleagues and friends who have worked hard and contributed to the success and development of this program.
Special thanks to Dr. Sahib Mehraban, who has made great efforts in providing leadership, guidance, and valuable advice throughout the program. May Allah bless him and his family.

This is an interest-free loan, and no beneficiary is charged any additional amount, fee, or interest under this program.

د دې پروګرام له لارې هر مستحق کس ته شاوخوا ۲۵،۰۰۰ افغانۍ قرض الحسنه ورکول کېږي، ترڅو وکولای شي خپل کوچنی کاروبار پیل کړي، پر خپلو پښو ودرېږي او د خپلې کورنۍ اقتصادي ستونزې راکمې کړي.
مستفیدین به دغه قرض په تدریجي ډول هره میاشت د افغانستان یتیم پالنې خیریه موسسې بانکي حساب ته له ۱۵۰۰ څخه تر ۲۰۰۰ افغانیو پورې بېرته تحویلوي، تر هغه چې پور یې بشپړ ادا شي. دا قرض الحسنه دی او په دې پروګرام کې له هېڅ مستفید څخه یوه افغانۍ هم اضافي پیسې، فیس یا سود نه اخیستل کېږي.
الحمدلله، د دغو ۲ نویو کاروبارونو په جوړېدو سره د دې پروګرام له لارې د جوړو شویو کوچنیو کاروبارونو شمېر 308ته ورسېد.
دا پروګرام ځانګړی د یتیمانو او یا د هغوی د مستقیمو سرپرستانو لپاره دی او په دوامداره توګه روان دی، ترڅو نورې بې سرپرسته کورنۍ هم د ځان بسیاینې فرصت ترلاسه کړي.
که ستاسو په سیمه کې هم داسې یتیمان یا د هغوی سرپرستان وي چې د دې پروګرام شرایط پوره کوي، کولی شئ له موږ سره اړیکه ونیسئ.

2 More Orphans and Their Guardians Receive Small Businesses Through the Qard Hasan Program in Kabul Province

Alhamdulillah, Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization has successfully established and handed over 2 new small businesses to orphans and their direct guardians in Kabul Province following a thorough assessment and the necessary orientation.

The newly established businesses include:

* Small restaurant tools
* Shoes shop
Under this program, each eligible beneficiary receives an interest-free loan of approximately AFN 25,000 to start a small business, become self-reliant, and improve their family's economic situation.
Beneficiaries gradually repay the loan by depositing AFN 1,500 to AFN 2,000 per month into the bank account of Orphan Care Afghanistan Welfare Organization until the full loan amount is repaid. This is a Qard Hasan (interest-free loan) program, and no interest, service fees, or additional charges are collected from any beneficiary.

Alhamdulillah, with these 2 newly established businesses, the total number of small businesses created through this program has now reached 308.

This program is exclusively designed for orphans and their direct guardians and continues to expand, providing vulnerable families with sustainable livelihood opportunities and helping them achieve financial independence.
