Every person deserves access to quality health care, no matter where they live.
With support from Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund, World Health Organization (WHO) reached more than 42,000 people with essential health services across Afghanistan's most vulnerable communities, provided treatment to nearly 8,000 children with severe acute malnutrition, and strengthened disease surveillance for early detection and response to the outbreaks.
Behind these numbers are healthier children, stronger communities, and families receiving the care they need when it matters most.

Following flooding in Parun, Nuristan, WHO-supported risk communication and community engagement activities reached 6,814 people with essential information on waterborne disease prevention, safe water practices, hygiene, sanitation, Oral Rehydration Solution use, and timely health-seeking behaviours.

در شفاخانه ولایتی بامیان، بخش تداوی داخل بستر سوءتغذیه خدمات نجات‌بخش را برای کودکان مبتلا به سوءتغذیه حاد شدید همراه با پیچیدگی‌های طبی ارائه می‌کند. این مرکز ۱۰ بستر دارد و هر ماه به‌طور اوسط ۱۵ کودک مبتلا به سوءتغذیه حاد شدید همراه با پیچیدگی‌های طبی را تحت مراقبت و تداوی قرار می‌دهد. سازمان جهانی صحت نیز از ارائه خدمات در این مرکز با تمویل اتحادیه اروپا حمایت می‌کند.
این حمایت شامل فراهم‌سازی بسته‌های تداوی سوءتغذیه حاد شدید کودکان، آموزش کارکنان صحی و بازسازی مرکز است تا کیفیت مراقبت و تداوی در آن بهبود یابد.
با تمویل اتحادیه اروپا، سازمان جهانی صحت در ۱۷ ولایت افغانستان از خدمات ضروری تداوی بستری و مراقبت‌های تخصصی تغذیه‌ برای بیش از ۶۰٬۰۹۸ کودک مبتلا به سوءتغذیه حاد شدید همراه با پیچیدگی‌های طبی حمایت کرده است که از این میان، ۲۹٬۸۶۷ تن دختر بودند.

د بامیان ولایتي روغتون د خوارځواکۍ د درملنې د داخل بستر څانګې کې هغو ماشومانو ته د ژوند ژغورنې روغتیايي خدمتونه وړاندې کېږي چې په شدیدې حادې خوارځواکۍ اخته وي او طبي پیچلتیاوې ولري. دغه ۱۰ بستریز مرکز هره میاشت په اوسط ډول د شدیدې حادې خوارځواکۍ او طبي پیچلتیاوو لرونکو ۱۵ ماشومانو درملنه کوي، چې د اروپايي ټولنې په مالي مرسته د روغتیا نړیوال سازمان له خوا ملاتړ کېږي.
په دې ملاتړ کې د ماشومانو د شدیدې حادې خوارځواکۍ د درملنې کڅوړو برابرول، د روغتیايي کارکوونکو روزنه او د مرکز بیارغونه شامله ده، څو د درملنې کیفیت لا ښه شي.
د اروپايي ټولنې په مالي ملاتړ، د روغتیا نړیوال سازمان په افغانستان کې په ۱۷ ولایتونو کې له ۶۰،۰۹۸ څخه زیاتو هغو ماشومانو ته چې له طبي پیچلتیاوو سره په شدیدې حادې خوارځواکۍ اخته وو، د بستر درملنې او تخصصي تغذیې اړین خدمتونه برابر کړي دي، چې له دې ډلې ۲۹،۸۶۷ نجونې وې.

At Bamyan Provincial Hospital, the inpatient therapeutic feeding centre provides lifesaving care for children with complicated severe acute malnutrition. The 10-bed centre treats an average of 15 children with severe acute malnutrition and medical complications each month and is supported by World Health Organization (WHO) through funding from the EU in Afghanistan.
This support includes the provision of paediatric severe acute malnutrition kits, training for health workers, and renovation of the centre to strengthen the quality of care.
Through funding from the European Union, WHO has supported essential inpatient treatment and specialized nutrition care for more than 60,098 children with complicated severe acute malnutrition, including 29,867 girls, across 17 provinces in Afghanistan.

کمپاین واکسین پولیو (فلج اطفال) امروز در تمام ۲۲ ولسوالی ننگرهار، ۷ ولسوالی کنر، ۶ ولسوالی کابل، ۲ ولسوالی هرات و ۲ ولسوالی فراه آغاز می‌شود.
هدف این کمپاین، پاسخ سریع به واقعات مثبت اخیر مرض پولیو و جلوگیری از گسترش بیشتر ویروس است.
بیایید همه اطفال زیر ۵ سال را واکسین نماییم تا مرض پولیو را از کشور عزیز ما محو کنيم.

World Health Organization Afghanistan supported a Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) campaign in , helping communities better understand and respond to health risks.
The campaign reached more than 37,000 people, with women making up 60% of those reached.
Together, we are bringing health information closer to the communities that need it most.
