Salam Café is dedicated to combating child poverty in Afghanistan, providing vital food services including daily nutritious meals, food packages, and school meal programs, serving over 60,000 meals. We’ve dewormed 500 children with , graduated 50+ students, and dewormed 400+ children and families. Our rental assistance program has supported 80 families, ensuring stable housing. This initiative is designed to break the cycle of poverty, offering families a chance to build a better future.

Since 2021 we’ve helped 450 kids by taking them off the street, providing them with 3 meals per day, hygiene and health services, and accelerated education.

At Salam Cafe, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive - no matter their circumstances. Through our education programs, we provide children with the resources and support they need to break free from the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures.

Salam Cafe has now graduated over 50 students who are now on their way to changing their lives and communities. From literacy and computer skills to vocational training, we’re committed to nurturing the potential of every child we serve.
