Kabul hub is honored to host an inspirational event titled "Follow your dream with The Afghan Girl’s Robotics Team".

The Afghan Girls Robotics Team, also known as the Afghan Dreamers, is an all-girl robotics team from Herat, Afghanistan, founded in 2017. The robotics team has come up with unique inventions since their beginnings four years ago, including a low-cost, hand-operated ventilator for coronavirus patients, using parts discarded from old Toyota Corollas, a common car in Afghanistan.
Making a wheelchair for people with disabilities that control their wheelchair pupil.

Afghan Dreamers’ achievements in last few months.
1: Won the judges Award in first Global’s 2021 competition.
2: Won an “Entrepreneur Challenge” at a festival in Estonia for developing a solar- powered robot.
3: Selected in the list of 30 scientists, inventors and businessmen under the age of 30, by Forbes Magazine.
4: Listed as one of BBC’s 100 women.
5: Talked on behalf of Afghan girls in UN.
6: Selected in the Hidden hero list by UNICEF

SCOLAR Kabul Team | United Entrepreneur Webinar

On the 24th of December 2020, the Kabul team with the support of SCOLAR Network has organized a webinar titled "United Entrepreneur Webinar".

The keynote speaker, Mr. Siam Pasarly is an entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and business coach. He is the Founder and Chairman of Kaar Poh, and the Co-Founder of Plan Future consulting firm. Mr. Pasarly is a business development coach with more than 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, communication, public speaking, training anchors, event management, and strategic planning. Now he is a Ph.D. candidate in Investment and International Business.

The webinar started with the welcoming remarks from SCOLAR Kabul Team founding curator Mr. Nawid Ahmadi, who has introduced SCOLAR Network. A moderator of the event Bibi Qudsia Tolwak introduced the Kabul team.

Participants were enthusiastic to learn from Mr. Siam Pasarly, as he talked about the ways to improve the standard of living and create value by starting your own business. He has also shared his personal journey, challenges that he met on the way and the dedication that took to overcome them to become a successful entrepreneur.

The participants learned that sustainable development only takes place when we are ready to treat each other with humanity, kindness, and benevolence.

Community Peace Hero’s Webinar

Scolar Kabul Team with the support of Scolar Network and the partnership of C4A organized the Community Peace Hero’s Webinar which caught the attention of large number of audience.

This memorable event was held on the 30th of October 2020.
This event started with the introduction of SCOLAR Network by the creative director of SCOLAR network Alina zholobova.
Sooriya Arya the moderator of this event also gave information about Capacity for Afghanistan Think Tank.
Nawid Ahmadi who leads Scolar Kabul team welcomed the honorable speakers and audience and explained to them the main purpose of organizing this event, he also requested all the youth from the SCO region to contribute and work hand in hand in order to attain peace and unity between the SCO region.
Our keynote speakers made our event more memorable with their speeches, each of the speakers talked on different subjects of peace.
Mr. Ghafarzai emphasized on how peace and harmony can contribute to the achievement of political strength, economic stability and cultural growth.

Ahmad Tariq Mateen explained the importance of Afghanistan for SCO members.

Obidullah Akhunzada expressed SCO members role in bringing peace in Afghanistan.

Lima Anwari talked on how the women of today are the role models and their involvement to promote peace and unity.

Aisha Khurram talked on how the Afghan youth’s active participation and contribution can be a solid ground for peace to reign in Afghanistan.

In last part of the event. Our panelists answered to the questions of audiences and hoped for the having peace across the world and closed the event.
