Central Afghanistan Welfare Committee CAWC کمته رفاه مناطق مرکزی افغانستان CAWC was established in 1989 as an Afghan National NGO in Peshawar Pak. Initially as part of a small group and served Afghan refuge in Pak.

In 2002 sh**ed to AFG and obtain membership with ACBAR, AWN, USAID, UNHCR, NCA, CARITAS, OCHA, SAFE, and JAPA CAWC is an NGO dedicated to reducing poverty and promoting sustainable development in rural communities in Central Afghanistan and other isolated regions. Working in cooperation with other CSOs, government and community organizations, we deliver projects that aim to strengthen employment, income generation, WASH, sustainable natural resources management, peace building and advocacy.
