Exposure Visit to Kabul (3–5 May 2026)
To strengthen the quality of health service delivery across its programs, Union Aid organized a three-day exposure visit for the Balkh project team to Kabul from 3–5 May 2026. Led by the Executive Director and supported by teams from both Kabul and Balkh, the visit included learning exchanges at seven health facilities. The initiative provided an opportunity for staff to observe best practices, share experiences, and discuss practical approaches to improving service quality, patient care, and health facility management. The exposure visits fostered knowledge sharing, strengthened collaboration among teams, and generated valuable recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness and quality of Union Aid’s health programs. Given its positive outcomes, Union Aid plans to continue organizing similar exposure visits in the future to promote continuous learning, capacity building, and the adoption of best practices across its health interventions.

Union Aid continues to stand with earthquake-affected communities in Kunar Province.

In the remote area of Arigamba, Mazar Dara (Nurgal District), where access to healthcare is extremely limited, Union Aid is providing essential health services through a dedicated primary health facility—reaching those who need it most.

A recent field visit (14–16 March 2026), led by the Executive Director and technical team, confirmed that services are being delivered effectively and with quality.

Community feedback highlighted the critical importance of sustaining these services due to the lack of alternative healthcare options.

Union Aid remains committed to supporting the most vulnerable with life-saving healthcare.
