Join WACIN as a Community Outreach Volunteer and become a bridge between vital services and the people who need them most. This is your chance to create meaningful change at the grassroots level while developing valuable skills in community engagement and social advocacy.

Your Role Will Include:
-Connecting directly with community members to identify pressing needs and challenges
-Assisting in designing and implementing impactful outreach campaigns
-Fostering trust and long-term relationships with diverse community stakeholders
-Helping evaluate and refine programs through participant feedback

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Communicates with empathy and cultural sensitivity
Believes in the power of community-driven solutions
Understands local contexts (fluency in regional languages is an asset)
Can commit to at least 6 hours/weeks of volunteer service

Are you a finance-minded changemaker? WACIN, a non-governmental empowering women and children, is seeking a volunteer CFO to lead financial strategy, build sustainability, and steward donor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and oversee WACIN’s budgeting and long-term financial planning
• Lead grant writing and fundraising from institutional donors and philanthropists
• Ensure compliance, transparency, and accurate reporting
• Strengthen donor relations through clear communication and impact reporting
• Build and manage simple financial systems suited for small international NGOs
• Collaborate with team leads and mentor junior finance volunteers

Qualifications:
• Up to 2 years’ experience in nonprofit finance, accounting, or grant writing
• Familiarity with budgeting, donor compliance, or financial reporting
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (certifications like ACCA/CPA a plus)
• Strong English writing and communication skills
• Knowledge of tools like QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Workspace
• Passion for transparency, women’s empowerment, and global development

Volunteer Opportunity: Chief Program Officer (CPO) – WACIN

Women and Children in Need (WACIN) is a non-governmental organization committed to empowering women and girls—especially in crisis-affected regions—through education, skills training, and advocacy. We collaborate with global volunteers to remove barriers and promote lasting change, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Role Summary:
WACIN is looking for a volunteer Chief Program Officer to lead and expand its education and advocacy initiatives. The CPO will:
• Design and manage programs in literacy, mentorship, teacher training, life skills, and digital learning
• Create and adapt accessible, culturally sensitive learning materials
• Work closely with local schools, NGOs, and community leaders
• Lead awareness efforts around girls' education rights
• Mentor volunteers and coordinate global team efforts
• Monitor program results and report progress

Requirements:
• Up to 2 years of experience in education, nonprofit work, or community programs
• Basic experience in curriculum design, advocacy, or program coordination
• Familiar with remote teamwork and project planning
