The Dr. Shahid Sayed Amin Educational Institution is being developed to provide children and young people with a safe and supportive place to learn. We have already raised 49,000 AFN, but 259,900 AFN is still needed to complete the project.

83,900 AFN Covers the full estimated cost of the steel beams

Donations may be combined with other contributions and allocated according to the project’s remaining needs. The amounts above show how each contribution relates to the current project budget; they do not necessarily mean that a donor’s money will be kept separate for that specific item.

Only 15.9% of the estimated cost has been raised so far. Reaching the remaining 259,900 AFN will allow us to complete the outstanding construction, infrastructure, and essential project expenses.

Every Contribution Has a Purpose

A 4,000 AFN donation could cover the entire current gravel budget.

A 6,000 AFN donation could cover the entire cement budget.

A 11,000 AFN donation could cover the electrical materials budget.

A 30,000 AFN donation could cover an entire major project item such as the windows and doors or the main entrance gate.

And if you are able to give more, your contribution can help address the larger remaining construction costs.

Whatever amount you choose to give, you are helping move this educational project from construction toward completion—and bringing a place of learning closer to the children who will use it.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Warm greetings and my sincere respect to all the respected members of the Advisory Council, our friends, supporters, and well-wishers of Institute of Dr. Shaheed Sayed Amin.

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank every one of you who has stood beside this educational institution over the past years through your advice, encouragement, cooperation, and financial and moral support.

For nearly five years, our institute has continued its educational activities despite many challenges and limitations. Today, by the grace of Allah and through the support of our friends and well-wishers, we have reached an important and historic milestone:
the foundation stone of our new educational building has been laid.

Dear friends,

Sometimes, a building is much more than just a building.

Sometimes, a foundation is not simply the foundation of walls and rooms; it is the foundation of a better future for an entire generation.

Today, in Dah Yakchi Khana Village, a remote area where educational opportunities are limited compared to major cities, we have decided to build a brighter future for our young people.

We want a young man or woman from a simple family in a remote village to have the opportunity to pursue higher education without having to leave their community or face impossible challenges.

We want to light a lamp of knowledge here close to the homes of our people. a lamp whose light can reach the minds and lives of hundreds of young people.

The world today is changing rapidly. Knowledge, technology, and communication are connecting people across borders. But one of the most important keys that connects our young generation to the wider world is education and language, especially English.

English has become one of the most important languages of international education, science, research, technology, and communication. A young person who learns English gains access to a much wider world of knowledge and opportunities.

Therefore, when we invest in English education and higher education in a remote area of Afghanistan, we are not simply teaching a language.

We are opening a window to the world.

Imagine a young person from this very area studying in this building, learning English, gaining professional skills, and becoming a doctor, engineer, teacher, researcher, or other specialist.

One day, that young person may return and serve the very community from which they came.

On that day, the value of this building will not be measured by the cost of its bricks, cement, or steel.

Its true value will be measured by the lives it has changed and the educated people it has helped bring into society.

Dear respected friends,

The foundation stone has been laid, but laying the foundation is only the beginning.

There is still a long road ahead.

Thankfully, a number of generous friends and respected donors have already promised their support, and some of those contributions have already reached us. We are deeply grateful to every one of them, and we pray that Allah blesses them, their families, and their wealth.

Some of the promised contributions are still pending, and we sincerely hope that, with the help of Allah and the continued support of our friends, those commitments will also be fulfilled so that we can continue this important project without interruption.

I would also like to make a sincere request to all members of our Advisory Council:

Let us not consider this simply a project for one educational institute.

Let us consider it an investment in the future of the young people of our community.

Everyone can contribute according to their ability.

One person may contribute financially. Another may introduce a potential donor. Someone else may offer valuable advice, connections, or practical assistance. And another may simply support us with their prayers and encouragement.

Every contribution matters.

What may seem like a small contribution today could one day change the life of a young person.

And what greater honor can there be than helping create an opportunity for another human being to learn, grow, and serve their community?

Perhaps we will never know exactly how many successful and influential people will emerge from this project.

But I believe that one day, a student from this very community will study in this building, achieve success, and serve their people.

And on that day, the contribution of those who helped build this institution will remain a part of that success.

This is the kind of lasting charity and good deed whose impact can continue for many years and across generations.

Therefore, I sincerely appeal to all our respected friends, supporters, and donors: please do not leave us alone at this important stage.

If you have already made a commitment to support this project, we kindly ask you to fulfill that commitment when possible. And if you are considering supporting this educational initiative, we warmly welcome your contribution.

We do not want to build only a building.

We want to build a future.

A future in which a young person from Qala-e-Dah Yakchi Khana can proudly say:

“I have the opportunity to learn. I can become a professional. I can build a better future. And I can serve my community.”

Let us invest today in a future that we may not live to see ourselves, but that our children and future generations will benefit from.
