على مدار ثلاثة أيام، تعاونت مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية مع الجامعة الأمريكية في الشارقة في مبادرة طلابية هدفت إلى تسليط الضوء على القضايا التي تمسّ حياة الأطفال حول العالم، والتعريف برسالة المؤسسة وجهودها في حمايتهم من الاستغلال والإساءة والعنف.

وأتاحت المبادرة للطلبة فرصة المشاركة في دعم العمل الإنساني والمساهمة في جمع التبرعات، بما يعكس دورهم في خدمة القضايا الإنسانية وإحداث أثر إيجابي في حياة الفئات الأكثر احتياجًا.

ومن خلال هذه المبادرة، تواصل المؤسسة تعزيز الوعي بحقوق الطفل، وتشجيع مشاركة المجتمع في دعمها والمساهمة في بناء مستقبل أكثر أمانًا للأجيال القادمة.

Over three days, Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation collaborated with the American University of Sharjah (AUS) on a student-led initiative aimed at raising awareness of risks affecting children worldwide and highlighting the Foundation's mission and efforts to protect them from exploitation, abuse, and violence.

The initiative gave students the opportunity to support humanitarian efforts and contribute to fundraising activities, reflecting their role in advancing humanitarian causes and making a positive impact on the lives of those most in need.

Through this initiative, the Foundation continues to raise awareness of child rights and encourage community engagement in supporting them and building a safer future for the next generation.

أخطر ما في جريمة الإتجار بالأطفال أنها لا تبدو دائمًا كما نتخيلها. فقد تبدأ بوعدٍ بالعمل، أو بمكانٍ آمن، أو بشخصٍ يعد طفلًا بحياةٍ أفضل.

في كل عام، تتزوج أكثر من 12 مليون فتاة قبل بلوغ سن الثامنة عشرة. وخلف كل رقم، طفولة قد تُختصر، وتعليم قد ينقطع، ومستقبل قد يُحدَّد قبل أن تُمنح الفتاة فرصة اختياره بنفسها.

ليست كل الجروح مرئية، وليست كل الآثار تنتهي بزوال الخطر.

قد يحتاج الطفل إلى أكثر من مكان آمن؛ يحتاج إلى من يصغي إليه، ويمنحه الثقة، ويساعده على استعادة شعوره بالأمان والانتماء.

في اليوم العالمي للصحة النفسية، نؤكد في مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية أن حماية الأطفال تشمل صحتهم النفسية، وأن لكل طفل الحق في الرعاية والاحتواء وفرصة لبناء مستقبل أكثر أماناً.

لأن ما لا نراه من الألم، لا يقل أهمية عمّا نراه.

Not all wounds are visible, and not all the effects of exploitation disappear when the danger has passed.

Children may need more than a safe place; they need someone who listens, helps them rebuild trust, and helps them regain a sense of safety and belonging.

This World Mental Health Day, Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation reaffirms that protecting children includes safeguarding their mental health, and that every child deserves care, compassion, and the opportunity to build a safer future.

تواصل مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية، من خلال مشروع “حماة الأطفال”
وبالشراكة مع منظمة بلان إنترناشونال المكسيك، دعم الجهود الرامية إلى تعزيز حماية الأطفال في وضعية التنقّل وصون حقوقهم

وخلال زيارة حديثة إلى المكسيك، شاركت كوميل زبيري، رئيسة قسم البرامج في مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية، في تقديم دراسة “تجارب وتصورات من أصوات الأطفال واليافعين أثناء التنقل في المكسيك”
التي أُنجزت بدعم من المؤسسة، وتسلّط الضوء على تجارب الأطفال واليافعين وتحدياتهم وقدرتهم على الصمود، بهدف الإسهام في تعزيز استجابات الحماية وضمان وصولهم الفعّال إلى حقوقهم.

كما شملت الزيارة أيضًا مركز الخدمات المتعددة في تاباتشولا، حيث اطّلع المشاركون على الخدمات المقدمة لطالبي اللجوء والأشخاص المحتاجين إلى الحماية الدولية، إلى جانب زيارة المساحة الصديقة للأطفال واليافعين، حيث يسهم البرنامج في توفير مساحات آمنة ودعم متخصص للأطفال في وضعية تنقّل.

ومن خلال هذه الشراكة، تواصل مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية دعم الجهود التي تجمع بين البحث والعمل الميداني لتعزيز حماية الأطفال وضمان وصولهم إلى حقوقهم.

Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi Humanitarian Foundation, through the “Guardians of Children” project and in partnership with Plan International Mexico, continues to support efforts to strengthen the protection and rights of children on the move.

During a recent visit to Mexico, Komel Zuberi, Head of Programs at KSQF, participated in the presentation of “Experiences and Perceptions Through the Voices of Children and Adolescents on the Move in Mexico”; research developed with the support of KSQF that highlights their experiences, challenges and resilience, with the aim of strengthening protection responses and supporting effective access to their rights.

The visit also included the Multiservices Centre in Tapachula, where representatives learned about services provided to people seeking refuge and those in need of international protection. They also visited the Child and Adolescent Friendly Space, where the programme contributes to providing safe spaces and specialised support for children on the move.

Through this partnership, KSQF continues to support efforts that bring together research and fieldwork to strengthen child protection and ensure access to their rights.

في اليوم الدولي للسلام، نسلّط الضوء على العاملين والمتخصصين والشركاء الذين تتكامل أدوارهم وجهودهم لحماية الأطفال ودعمهم.

وبهذه المناسبة تؤكد لوجان مراد، مديرة مؤسسة خالد بن سلطان القاسمي الإنسانية:
"السلام ليس شيئاً نقدّمه من بعيد، بل يصنعه الأشخاص العاملون على الأرض، الذين يقفون إلى جانب الطفل يوماً بعد يوم. وبفضل جهودهم، وليس جهودنا فقط، يصبح كل هذا ممكناً. وفي هذا اليوم الدولي للسلام، نتوجه إليهم بخالص امتناننا وتقديرنا".
