The Palestinian Cultural Club (PCC) is a non-profit, student cultural organization based in the campus of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), dedicated to the continuous development and welfare of the Palestinian Community. The PCC Constitution that was established by seven students in spring 1999 accommodates now hundreds of members from different ages, nationalities and professions. With t
he collaboration of more than 900 students we have been so lucky to present our culture through the organization of various events that people will always remember, including cultural & folkloric performances, charity events, awareness lectures, and many other events that shed light on the Palestinian cause and culture. Every year a different executive board made of 8 – 9 students is responsible for the organizing and management of the PCC throughout the whole year. And the main purpose of every executive board is to present the Palestinian culture, heritage and rich traditions to AUS and the UAE community and to continually remind them of the occupied Palestinian land and its struggle to join the league of free nations.
