بين الجلسات واللقاءات والشراكات، وأسئلة أجبنا عنها وأعضاء جدد انضموا إلينا، نغادر معرض أبوظبي الدولي للكتاب بعد ستة أيام حافلة وقد اتسعت معها دائرة الوعي بالحقوق، ونحن نعرف أن المبدعين أصبحوا أقرب إلى حقوقهم وإدراك قيمتها وكيفية حمايتها.

شارك محمد بن دخين، رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الإمارات لإدارة حقوق النسخ، في جلسة “الأصالة في الإبداع وصناعة النشر”، التي نظمتها مؤسسة بحر الثقافة في معرض أبوظبي الدولي للكتاب، مقدماً منظور مؤسسات إدارة الحقوق حول قيمة الأعمال الأدبية الأصيلة، ودور الكاتب والناشر في الحفاظ على جودتها.

Mohammed Bin Dakhin, President of ERRA, joined today’s conversation on originality in literary work, quality, and the shared responsibility between writers and publishers in bringing a work to its audience, as part of the “Originality in Creativity and Publishing” session, organised by the Sea of Culture Foundation at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.

ما هي تشريعات الملكية الفكرية في دولة الإمارات؟ كيف تحمي الحقوق والاقتصاد الإبداعي؟ وماذا يترتب على عدم الالتزام بها؟ أسئلة كانت في صميم جلستنا الحوارية في معرض أبوظبي الدولي للكتاب، والتي جمعت نخبة من خبراء الملكية الفكرية لمناقشة التشريعات المحلية، ودور مؤسسات الإدارة الجماعية في تفعيلها، ومسؤولية الجامعات والمؤسسات التعليمية في اعتماد التراخيص الرسمية والاستخدام المشروع للمصنفات المحمية.

How does the UAE’s intellectual property framework protect rights and support the creative economy? And what are the consequences of non-compliance? These questions shaped our panel at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, where IP experts came together to discuss local legislation, the role of collective management organisations, and the responsibility of universities and educational institutions to use protected works legally through official licensing.

تشرفنا بزيارة معالي الشيخ سالم بن خالد القاسمي، وزير الثقافة، لجناح جمعية الإمارات لإدارة حقوق النسخ في معرض أبوظبي الدولي للكتاب، واطلاعه على جهود الجمعية في حماية حقوق المؤلفين والناشرين.

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture, to the ERRA stand at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, and to give him a closer look at our work and the role ERRA plays in protecting the rights of authors and publishers.
