Established in 1997 by the Dutch Consulate and a group of prominent Dutch businessmen, the, NBC provides its members with a permanent platform for professional networking and - more in particular - the enhancement of business links with likeminded entrepreneurs, professionals and business councils
in Dubai, the Northern Emirates and the GCC at large. To this end, the NBC undertakes a wide range of monthly activities managing to entertain, inform and connect its members with each other and with interested third parties from around the region. Organized as a non-profit association under Dubai law and working under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the NBC is recognized by the UAE authorities as the representative body of Dutch entrepreneurs and professionals active in Dubai and the Northern Emirates. Whilst operationally independent and financially self-sufficient from the outset, the NBC has experienced significant growth over the last decade. From a handful pioneering entrepreneurs and career expatriates, the NBC has grown into a body of roughly 200 entrepreneurs, managers and executives in a large variety of industries. Many of them consistently frequent the NBC’s 30+ events
throughout the year.
