The Festival offers is home to three competitions - the official Gulf competition for professional filmmakers, the Gulf student competition and an international shorts competition - with a total prize value in excess of half a million dirhams. GFF also welcomes submissions to its out of competition sections, and welcomes filmmakers to its free workshops and special events.
