Together with my team, we continue to advance initiatives in and , contributing to the UAE’s vision of a secure, resilient, and family-centred digital environment.
As the digital world evolves, so must our efforts to protect children wherever they are. The challenges are real, but so is our shared responsibility to act with purpose and consistency.

Statement from our CEO, Maryam Ehsani, “As an advocate for Responsible AI and the inclusion of children in shaping their future, I’m encouraged by the UAE’s decision to introduce AI as a subject from kindergarten to grade 12. It’s a smart and timely move to prepare children for a rapidly changing world.

It’s also great to see a clear focus on , , and . must come first; before any AI is deployed or used, especially around . But my favourite part is not just introducing AI to children, it’s teaching them how to stay while using and understanding it.

Preventing child abuse online is a global effort that’s been ongoing for many years, and it’s still challenging! And now with moving fast, the risk to is increasing. Lately, we have seen the harm: more teens facing anxiety, depression, and even su***de, often due to too much dependency on tech and a lack of AI . And of course, we know that AI, brings benefits, but we can’t ignore the risks. And we need to act now and we need to work together on this crucial time.
