The Spring 2026 ACI Concrete Convention had record-breaking attendance, which included industry professionals from over 40 different countries.🌟 The international efforts at each convention reflect ACI’s continued work to increase global participation and disseminate industry knowledge worldwide.
🌎 International activities at the Spring Convention included the ACI International Forum, International Lunch, International Session: "Carbon Conscious Concrete – International Efforts for CO2 Reduction in the Concrete Industry," and the International Speakers Committee Meeting.
🌎 The ACI international team convened with distinguished representatives from three key global regions—Latin America, Western Europe, and Asia Pacific—highlighting the organization’s continued commitment to international collaboration. During these meetings, ACI signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with FIB (The International Federation for Structural Concrete), IBRACON (Instituto Brasileiro Do Concreto), and Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT). This latest collaboration adds to ACI’s expanding portfolio of international relationships, now numbering more than 75 organizations.
🌎 The FRP Composites Student Competition featured 43 teams from around the world, including the USA, Bangladesh, Canada, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Poland, Guatemala, Columbia, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico.
🌎 ACI also recognized a distinguished group of Chapters from around the world with Excellent and Outstanding ACI Chapters. Winners included chapters from the USA, India, Mexico, Canada, the Philippines, Singapore, Peru and the Republic of Columbia.
