The Malaysian Business Council was proud to be one of the co-organizers of the Intercouncil Networking Event held on 7th May 2026 at W Dubai – The Palm.

The event brought together an inspiring network of international business councils and communities, including representatives from the Ukrainian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Polish, Iranian, Sri Lankan, Lebanese, and Kazakhstan business councils. The strong participation once again highlighted the importance of collaboration, exchange of ideas, and building meaningful cross-border business relationships.

In today’s evolving global business environment, partnerships and international cooperation are more important than ever. Through continued engagement and support among our business communities, we create greater opportunities for growth, trade, investment, and long-term cooperation.

Courtesy Call to the Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai 🇲🇾🇦🇪

On 21 January 2026, the Malaysian Business Council UAE (MBC UAE), led by our Chairman, paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Consul General of Malaysia in Dubai, Mr. Riaz Abdul Razak.
Several members of the MBC UAE Board were present at the meeting.

During the session, the Council shared a briefing on MBC UAE’s role in supporting Malaysian businesses operating in the UAE, as well as our ongoing collaboration with Malaysian government agencies based in the region.

The discussion reaffirmed MBC UAE’s commitment to working closely with the Consulate to support its activities and mission across Dubai and the wider UAE.

As part of our quarterly and Bi-annually signature Intercouncil engagement, the Malaysian Business Council UAE (MBC UAE) was pleased to participate in the Intercouncil Back to Business event held on 15 January 2026 at Le Méridien Hotel & Conference Centre, Dubai.

The event provided a valuable platform for member companies, council partners, and the wider business community to reconnect after the year-end period, exchange market insights, and explore cross-council collaboration opportunities. Participants benefited from direct conversations on market access, regional business trends, and practical pathways for doing business across borders, particularly between Malaysia and the UAE.

We value these engagements as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering meaningful connections, strengthening commercial relationships, and supporting our members through trusted regional networks.
