Global Pulse Confederation - GPC Global Pulse Confederation GPC is headquartered in Dubai and licensed under the Dubai Government authority, Dubai Multi Commodity Centre (DMCC).

The Global Pulse Confederation (GPC, formerly known as CICILS-IPTIC) is the nonprofit association for the pulses industry value chain. GPC by the numbers:

- Enjoys membership from 18 national associations and over 600 private sector members.
- Represents an industry worth over $100 billion at the retail level.
- Pulses production is distributed in over 55 countries, and reaches over 60 million tonnes every year.

When logistics shift, the entire trade landscape can change.

At the Qingdao Pulses Congress, industry experts explored the forces reshaping shipping and logistics across the global pulses trade, from rising freight and insurance costs to geopolitical disruptions, shipping capacity, port operations and growing pressure on storage.

The panel also looked at the challenges facing importers and exporters, and the importance of closer coordination between cargo owners, forwarders and other stakeholders.
