Exhibition Afghanistan is the first international tradeshow dedicated to promoting exquisite, high-end Afghan products on the global marketplace. The event will showcase silk scarves and carpets, spices (saffron and asafetida), packaged dried fruit and nuts, and marble and precious gemstones – all selected based on their growing supply-base availability, competitiveness, and overseas demand. vent will connect 40 of Afghanistan’s top exporters with leading international buyers during two days of business-to-business meetings on Dec. 6-7. The general public will also have the opportunity to purchase the Afghan products during three full days of business-to-consumer events held at the Dubai Mall from Dec. 8-10. Exhibition Afghanistan is organized by Afghan Exporters Club, a loose association of leading Afghan traders; the United States Agency of International Development (USAID), the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, International Chamber of Commerce in Afghanistan, and Afghanistan Business Council.
