*A Helmet of Fear, a Heart of Faith*

For seafarers, wearing a helmet is normally a safety requirement while working onboard. But now a days, amid the war in the Gulf, some wear their helmets even in their cabins and dining rooms.

It is no longer just about safety—it is about *fear* . As missiles and drones cross the skies and are intercepted overhead, they fear the falling debris and wonder if they will survive. Their instinct is simple: protect the head, protect life.

When I met seafarer Jan Kenneth R. Sullano, I noticed something deeply moving written on his helmet:

*“Jesus is My Saviour.”*

In the midst of fear, his helmet has become more than protection—it has become a quiet testimony of faith.

*Yes, Jesus is our Saviour.*
*Lord, protect and save our seafarers.*

(As reported by Fr. Franklin, the MtS Chaplain.)

The crew on board the Louise Borchard were repairing their portable swimming pool today. It had sadly ripped the lady time they used it. They have just enough space on an upper deck for it. They fill it up with sea water as they are underway.
The crew said everyone enjoys having a splash in the water 🙌
