Environmental Center for Arab Towns About ECAT? Environmental Center for Arab Towns (ECAT) is a scientific research center which deals with environmental issues concerning Arab cities.

Environmental Center for Arab Towns (ECAT) is a scientific research center which deals with environmental issues concerning Arab city's natural resources and sustainable development. ECAT is affiliated with the Arab Town Organization (ATO) and hosted by Dubai Municipality and operates under the umbrella of the Director General of Dubai Municipality as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and 11 r

epresentatives from ATO member cities. The center specialized in offering awareness and research services in different environmental fields especially organizing environmental conferences and exhibitions, training programmes and workshops in addition to issuing the EnviroCities e-magazine and kids magazine. ECAT working to encourage cooperation and collaboration between environmental agencies and organizations at local, regional and international level in addition to knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer and best environmental practices among Arab cities.
