Sponsored by Emirates Green Building Council Co-Founder, Dr. Sadek Owainati, the award recognizes exceptional student research from accredited universities in the United Arab Emirates, with a focus on advancing knowledge and innovation in green buildings across the UAE and the wider Middle East.

The award aims to support and encourage the next generation of sustainability leaders shaping the future of the built environment through impactful academic research and innovative thinking.

The winner will receive:

• A cash prize

• A complimentary one-year EmiratesGBC Student Membership

This year’s edition celebrates 17 impactful categories that recognize leadership, innovation, and measurable progress toward a more sustainable built environment across the MENA region.
With applications closing on 10 July, this is your opportunity to showcase your work, inspire change, and be recognized among the region’s leading sustainability pioneers.
