How often do your meetings actually achieve the planned goals? 🛄

Meetings can either be powerful alignment tools or productivity killers. The difference lies in how they’re designed and run.

Here are signs of ineffective meetings include:

❎ Overlong agendas: Too many topics dilute focus and energy.

❎ One-way talk: Few voices dominate while others zone out.

❎ No clear outcome: Meetings end without decisions or action steps.

❎ Meeting fatigue: Back-to-back sessions leave teams drained.

Better meetings lead to better results and happier teams that’s why at ProCnnct, we train teams to run focused, engaging, outcome-driven meetings.

Is it ethical to take on extra jobs during remote work hours? 💻

As remote work becomes more prevalent, some professionals may feel tempted to juggle additional jobs during their primary working hours. But is it ethical?

Here are things to consider for both employees and employers:

🔸 Commitment to Primary Role: Most employers expect full focus on your primary job during work hours; balancing extra roles can risk productivity and quality.

🔸 Transparency: Discussing secondary work arrangements with your manager can help set boundaries and avoid conflicts.

🔸 Legal Obligations: Exclusivity clauses in many contracts prevent extra work during
business hours; reviewing them ensures compliance with employer expectations.

🔸 Employer Trust: Working from home requires trust; staying focused on primary
responsibilities preserves it and upholds professional integrity.

Do you work from home?

Are your employees really under-performing or suffering from burnout? 😣

When employees slow down, leaders jump to conclusions like being lazy, or losing drive. But beneath that drop in performance might be burnout, not boredom.

Here are 4 causes to work burnout:

1⃣ Mental overload: Constant pressure without rest exhausts even top performers.

2⃣ Invisible workload: Hidden tasks like emotional labor, admin, or mentoring drain energy too.

3⃣ No safe space: When people can’t express exhaustion, they suffer in silence, then drop out entirely.

4⃣ Performance obsession: Only valuing output ignores the human behind the numbers. If you're only measuring output, you're not managing humans, you're managing machines.

At ProCnnct, we help businesses spot burnout early before it turns into resignations.

⚠️Do this if you wish to FAIL
No one wishes to fail, right? Well, here are 3 things you might do without realizing that sabotage your growth.

1• You don’t listen to feedback
Growth requires the ability to listen and the desire to improve. Successful people ask for constructive feedback and explore new ideas. Don't wait for criticism to work on yourself—ask people you trust for feedback!

2• You stay in your comfort zone A comfort zone is important for your overall well-being, but getting out of it every once in a while is an opportunity to progress.

Change can be scary but wallowing in comfort only delays professional and personal growth.

3• You don’t care about your LinkedIn profile
The fact that every well-established professional is on Linkedin proves that it’s not just another social media platform. It’s an online record of your successes and experiences. If you’re not using it to your advantage, you’re missing out
on opportunities.

Let us know if you want more tips on how to make the most out of Linkedin!

A very widely-spread advice for job interviewees is to work on their body language.
Yet, nobody speaks of how exactly body language makes interviewers impressed.

There are 3 key aspects of body language to focus on:
1️⃣Eye Contact
The problem with eye contact is that when you focus on the interviewers’ eyes only you might feel awkward or forget to blink which comes out as antisocial.
The secret to great eye contact is not to focus on the eyes alone, but rather the entire face of interviewers.
Focus on looking at their chin, cheeks, nose, and eyes all together.
If there us more than one person in the room, ensure making enough eye contact with everyone.

2️⃣Posture
How you appear in your seat is important.
Your back should be aligned against the back of the chair.
You can lean a little towards the interview to show you are paying attention.
Don’t cross your arms and keep your palms open.
Your shoulders must be down, and your chin is parallel to the floor.

3️⃣Hand Gestures
It’s wrong to have wild hand gestures moving everywhere. It’s also wrong to keep your hands stuck in place as if they’re imprisoned.
The best ways to use your hands is to have softer less pronounced gestures when making a point.
Stay within your physical zone, and don’t let your fingertips intrude on the interviewer’s space.
Also, clenched fists or biting nails indicate nervousness and low confidence. It suggests you may not be right for this job.
On the other “hand”, open fists and free fingers suggest that you are ambitious and hopeful.
Finally, remember that 55% of communication is nonverbal. So ensure you present yourself as the best possible professional version.

Do you think loyalty is becoming an excuse to underpay your best people? 💵

We all love a loyal employee, the ones who stick around, say yes, and step up. But when companies start taking loyalty for granted, it leads to resentment, not retention.

Here’s what loyalty without recognition or reward actually causes:

🔵 Pay compression: New hires earn more than long-timers doing the same job, and your employees can tell.

🔵 Career stagnation: Loyal employees get passed over because they “never complain.”

🔵 Brain drain: The people who stay longest often know the most, and burn out first.

🔵 Quiet quitting: When loyalty isn’t valued, it turns into silent disengagement.

If you're relying on someone's loyalty to save costs, you're not saving money instead you're building a future resignation.

At ProCnnct, we help leaders build fair reward systems so that loyalty leads to leadership, not loss.
