Unity and Harmony Iftar in Zanzibar

Zanzibar is a unique landscape where diversity coexists in harmony. Reflecting this ethos, NGOs in Zanzibar, under the umbrella of Zangof, came together to share the spirituality of Ramadan and strengthen community solidarity through a special iftar dinner.This event was proudly sponsored by us RIE
Research Implementation Effect and brought together people from various parts of Zanzibar.

Our guest of honor for the iftar was the esteemed minister, Mh. Rasmi ni Mheshimiwa Shariff Ali Shariff
Waziri wa Nchi,Afisi ya Rais Kazi, Uchumi na Uwekezaji, who has made significant contributions to the cultural and social fabric of the island.

This gathering allowed us to share our vision of building a stronger community by uniting people. The spiritual peace and sense of community solidarity experienced by sharing a meal together was an unforgettable experience for all of us.

As RIE, we are committed to organizing events that embrace and support every segment of society in Zanzibar.

In Tanzania, in line with the spirit of Ramadan, the iftar dinner distribution, sponsored by “Umut Sensin” and implemented by RIE, preserves one of the most beautiful traditions of this holy month. This special project serves hot meals to the fasting members of the community, reinforcing the unifying and sharing spirit of Ramadan.

The iftar dinner distribution carried out in various regions of Tanzania aims to satisfy both physical and spiritual hunger. These meals highlight the feelings of sharing, assistance, and brotherhood that Ramadan emphasizes, while also strengthening solidarity and unity among communities.

Thanks to the effective implementation by RIE and the generous sponsorship by “Umut Sensin,” this iftar dinner distribution aims to reach every individual in need. The project not only provides meals but also aims to make the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan tangible for everyone.

This initiative, while bringing hope and joy to community members, also showcases a strong example of social responsibility awareness. The collaboration between “Umut Sensin” and RIE is a meaningful movement that reflects the essence of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of sharing and being together. In Tanzania, amidst the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan, a meaningful aid initiative has been launched to support needy families. This project, conducted by and sponsored by , is a Ramadan food package distribution event that reflects the spirit of sharing, solidarity, and assistance characteristic of the holy month.

Within this initiative, families living in various regions of Tanzania, particularly those lacking food security, have been selected to receive support throughout the month of Ramadan. Each food package is carefully prepared with basic food items and nutritionally rich products to meet the dietary needs of the families during Sahur (pre-dawn meal) and Iftar (meal to break the fast).

The aim of this initiative is to reach out to the most vulnerable members of society in a manner consistent with the spirit of Ramadan, providing them with moral and material support. The distribution of the food packages serves to fulfill both physical and spiritual needs, enabling families to approach this blessed month with more peace and hope.

The collaboration between RIE and Umut Sensin sends a strong message highlighting the importance of community awareness and mutual support. This project not only provides immediate assistance but also aims to create a long-term model for promoting social solidarity and unity.

The food package distribution, aiming to bring the abundance and spirit of assistance of Ramadan to every family in Tanzania, has received positive feedback from all sectors of society, thanks to the leadership of Rie and Umut Sensin.
