🦀 It all started with a horseshoe crab on a Long Island beach.

That moment of wonder launched - goalkeeper - onto a lifetime of curiosity about what lives beneath the waves.

⚽️ For this incredible football player, the ocean isn’t an escape - it’s a reset. A chance to be reminded of how extraordinary this blue planet of ours really is.

🌊 This is why she dives. This is why she advocates. This is why we’re so lucky to have her as an ambassador of Ocean Rising.

🐋 Meet the incredible - our newest Ocean Rising ambassador!

Tessa is a phenomenal ocean advocate and one of Britain’s leading animal sculptors.

👏 Her art has been displayed all around! Including the iconic and the - even for the late Queen Elizabeth II.

🌊 For the last few years, she’s turned her attention to the sea, and to s***m whales, which she sculpts from discarded ghost nets.

Meet our newest Ocean Rising Ambassador: 🙌

⛵Lisa is a record-breaking solo sailor, author and explorer. She’s circumnavigated Antarctica alone, and is now preparing a new voyage into the Arctic.

Yet what sets her apart isn’t just the extreme nature of her voyages - it’s the way she tells them. Her amazing ability to turn these solo ocean journeys into stories of true courage and deep care for the planet.

🩵 Though her book, film and live talks, Lisa invites new audiences into the emotional reality of life on the water: the fear, the awe, and the deep ocean connection underneath it all.

As an Ambassador, she’ll be helping us explore how combining adventure, science and culture can help reimagine our relationship with the sea.

🙌 What an evening!

Our very own recently attended ’s show at the - and she’s still thinking about it.

At one point, the whole hall went dark. Whale sounds filled the room.

Then came the audience interaction...

🌊5,000 people were invited to be the wave, sending a ripple of movement around one of the world’s most legendary venues.

This is exactly what we believe at Ocean Rising. That the ocean doesn’t need a lecture to be felt. It needs a shared moment of awe. An original instigator. a packed room, and suddenly strangers can be experiencing their connection to the blue, together.
