يدعوكم مجلس حكماء المسلمين للمشاركة في ندوة بعنوان: «جهود مجلس حكماء المسلمين في تعزيز التعايش حول العالم» ضمن فعاليات معرض كراتشي العالمي للكتاب 2025.

His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, extends his congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and to the brotherly Qatari people on the occasion of the National Day of the State of Qatar.

His Eminence commends the State of Qatar for its leading developmental and civilizational achievements, as well as its active role in supporting the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations, praying to Almighty God to preserve Qatar—its leadership and people—and to grant it continued security, stability, and prosperity.

شهد اليوم الأول من مشاركة مجلس حكماء المسلمين بجناحٍ خاص في معرض كراتشي الدولي للكتاب حضورًا واسعًا وتفاعلًا مميّزًا من مختلف فئات الزوّار، في مستهلّ المشاركة الأولى للمجلس في هذا الحدث الثقافي الدولي.

كما زار وزير التعليم لإقليم السِّند، السيد سردار علي شاه جناح المجلس، خلال افتتاح المعرض واطّلع على أبرز إصداراته الفكرية، مشيدًا بدورها في تعزيز الفهم الصحيح للإسلام ونشر قيم الحوار والتسامح، مع تكريم جناح المجلس باعتباره مشاركًا دوليًا متميّزًا في دورة المعرض الحالية.

The first day of the Muslim Council of Elders’ participation with a dedicated pavilion at the Karachi World Book Fair witnessed strong turnout and notable engagement from visitors of all backgrounds, marking the Council’s first participation in this prominent international cultural event.

During the opening of the fair, the Minister of Education of Sindh Province, Mr. Sardar Ali Shah, visited the Council’s pavilion and reviewed its key intellectual publications, commending their role in promoting a sound understanding of Islam and spreading the values of dialogue and tolerance. The Council’s pavilion was also honored in recognition of its distinguished international participation in the current edition of the fair.

اللغة العربية ليست مجرد وسيلة تواصل، بل وعاءُ حضارةٍ وذاكرةُ فكرٍ وعلوم.

في اليوم العالمي للغة العربية، يؤكّد مجلس حكماء المسلمين، برئاسة فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ.د. أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، أن اللغة العربية ركيزةٌ أساسية في الهوية الحضارية الإسلامية والإنسانية، ولغةٌ عالمية أسهمت عبر القرون في نقل العلوم، وترسيخ قيم الحوار والتفاهم بين الشعوب.

ويدعو مجلس حكماء المسلمين إلى ضرورة العمل على صون اللغة العربية وتعزيز حضورها في التعليم والثقافة والإعلام والفضاء الرقمي مسؤوليةٌ مشتركة، الأمر الذي يتطلب تطوير آليات تعليمها، وتشجيع الإبداع والترجمة والبحث العلمي بها، وربطها بقيمها الأخلاقية والإنسانية الداعمة للسِّلم والتعايش.

Arabic is not merely a means of communication; it is a vessel of civilization and a repository of thought and knowledge.

On the occasion of World Arabic Language Day, the Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, affirms that the Arabic language is a fundamental pillar of Islamic and human civilizational identity, and a living global language that has, over centuries, played a central role in transmitting knowledge and reinforcing the values of dialogue and mutual understanding among peoples.

The Muslim Council of Elders calls for concerted efforts to preserve the Arabic language and strengthen its presence across education, culture, media, and the digital space, stressing that this is a shared responsibility. Achieving this requires developing effective teaching methods, encouraging creativity, translation, and scientific research in Arabic, and linking the language to its ethical and human values that support peace and coexistence.

للمرة الأولى يشارك مجلس حكماء المسلمين بجناحٍ خاص في معرض كراتشي الدولي للكتاب 2025، في خطوةٍ تعكس توسّع حضوره الفكري على الساحة الدولية، وتعزّز دوره في نشر ثقافة السِّلم والحوار عبر الكتاب والمعرفة.

يقدّم جناح المجلس أكثر من 250 إصدارًا فكريًا بـ 8 لغات، من بينها 12 إصدارًا باللغة الأوردية، تُعالج قضايا فكرية معاصرة، وتُرسّخ قيم الحوار الإسلامي–الإسلامي، والفهم الرشيد للإسلام القائم على الوسطية والاعتدال.

كما ينظّم المجلس برنامجًا ثقافيًا وفكريًا متكاملًا يضم ندوات وحوارات مفتوحة، بمشاركة نخبة من الأكاديميين والقيادات الدينية والفكرية، لتعزيز الحوار بين الثقافات، والتسامح، والتفاهم المشترك.

For the first time, the Muslim Council of Elders is participating with a dedicated pavilion at the Karachi International Book Fair 2025, marking a step that reflects the expansion of the Council’s intellectual presence on the international stage and reinforces its role in promoting a culture of peace and dialogue through books and knowledge.

The Council’s pavilion showcases more than 250 intellectual publications in eight languages, including 12 titles in Urdu, addressing contemporary intellectual issues and reinforcing the values of intra-Islamic dialogue, while promoting a sound and balanced understanding of Islam based on moderation and tolerance.

In addition, the Council is organizing a comprehensive cultural and intellectual program featuring seminars and open discussions, with the participation of leading academics and religious and intellectual figures. These sessions aim to promote intercultural dialogue, tolerance, mutual understanding, and shared human values.

يُدين مجلس حكماء المسلمين، برئاسة فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ.د. أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، بشدّة مصادقة حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي على إقامة وشرعنة 19 مستوطنة في الضفة الغربية المحتلّة، لما تمثّله من انتهاك صارخ للشرعية الدولية وتصعيد خطير يقوّض فرص السلام العادل والشامل.

ويجدّد المجلس دعوته للمجتمع الدولي إلى تحمّل مسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية، وإنهاء معاناة الشعب الفلسطيني، وضمان حقه المشروع في إقامة دولته المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس الشريف.

The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, strongly condemns the Israeli occupation government’s approval of the establishment and legalization of 19 settlements in the occupied West Bank, considering this a flagrant violation of international legitimacy and a dangerous escalation that undermines the prospects for a just and comprehensive peace.

The Council renews its call on the international community to uphold its legal and moral responsibilities, end the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people, and guarantee their legitimate right to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.

يُعرب مجلس حكماء المسلمين، برئاسة فضيلة الإمام الأكبر أ.د. أحمد الطيب، شيخ الأزهر الشريف، عن خالص التعازي للمملكة المغربية؛ قيادةً وحكومةً وشعبًا، في ضحايا الفيضانات التي شهدتها مدينة آسفي، وأسفرت عن سقوط عدد من الضحايا والمصابين.

ويؤكِّد مجلس حكماء المسلمين تضامنه الكامل مع المملكة المغربية والشعب المغربي الشقيق وأهالي وأسر الضحايا في هذا المصاب الأليم، سائلًا المولى عز وجل أن يمنَّ على المصابين بالشفاء العاجل، وأن يحفظ المغرب وأهله من كل مكروه وسوء.

The Council affirms its solidarity with the Kingdom of Morocco, the Moroccan people, and the families of the victims during this tragic event. May Allah grant the injured a speedy recovery and protect Morocco and its people from all harm and misfortune.

ويشدّد المجلس على أهمية تعزيز قيم التسامح والتعايش والسلام، ويُعرب عن خالص تعازيه للولايات المتحدة حكومةً وشعبًا، ولأسر الضحايا، متمنيًا الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.

وشكّلت المشاركة منصة حوارية مهمة تناولت قضايا تعزيز السِّلم المجتمعي، وترسيخ قيم التعايش، ومواجهة خطاب الكراهية والتطرف، والتأكيد على مكانة المرأة ، وتعزيز الحوار الإسلامي الإسلامي، إضافة إلى عرض نخبة من إصدارات المجلس الفكرية والمعرفية التي تعكس رسالته في نشر الوسطية وبناء الوعي.

The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders, strongly condemns the shooting incident that occurred in the city of Sydney, Australia.

The Council affirms its unequivocal rejection of all forms of violence, terrorism, and the targeting of innocent civilians, stressing that attacks against civilians constitute a grave crime that contravenes the teachings of Islam, all divine religions, and universal moral and human values. The Council calls for strengthening international efforts to confront hate speech and extremism, and to promote a culture of dialogue and mutual respect.

The Muslim Council of Elders also extends its sincere condolences to the Government and people of Australia, and to the families of the victims, and wishes a speedy recovery to those injured.

في ندوة بعنوان "نداء أهل القبلة: دعوة مشتركة لوحدة المسلمين" جدّد مجلس حكماء المسلمين التأكيد على أن وحدة الأمّة تنطلق من الحوار الصادق، واحترام التنوع، والتمسّك بالمشتركات الكبرى التي تجمع المسلمين.

أدار الندوة الدكتور سمير بو دينار، مدير مركز الحكماء لبحوث السلام، بمشاركة الشيخ الدكتور علي عبد العزيز الجبوري الذي أوضح أن «نداء أهل القبلة» يُرسّخ الأطر والأسس التي تحتاجها الأمة لتعزيز وحدتها ومواجهة خطاب الفُرقة والتعصّب.

واختُتمت الندوة بالتأكيد أن «نداء أهل القبلة» وثيقة تؤصّل لمشروع عملي يهدف إلى وحدة الأمة ولم شملها وتوحيد كلمتها في ظل ما تواجهه من تحديات .

In a seminar titled “The Call of Ahl al-Qibla: A Joint Appeal for Muslim Unity,” the Muslim Council of Elders reaffirmed that the unity of the Ummah begins with sincere dialogue, respect for diversity, and adherence to the key common principles that bring Muslims together.

The seminar was moderated by Dr. Samir Boudinar, Director of the Al-Hokama Center for Peace Research, with the participation of Sheikh Dr. Ali Abdulaziz Al-Jubouri, who explained that the “Call of Ahl al-Qibla” establishes the frameworks and foundations the Ummah needs to strengthen its unity and counter divisive and extremist rhetoric.

The seminar concluded by emphasizing that the “Call of Ahl al-Qibla” is not merely a conceptual document, but a practical project for promoting peace and a guiding compass for unity and respectful engagement with differences.
