Mr. Foday Marie Conteh is the Coordinator of and one of the key individuals contributing immensely to the growth and development of the Foundation.

Through his leadership, dedication, and commitment, he continues to play a major role in coordinating the activities of the Foundation, especially in the area of agriculture and community development in Matholley Village. His active involvement in the cassava farming project and other agricultural initiatives has helped strengthen youth participation, promote food security, and encourage sustainable farming within the community.

Mr. Conteh’s passion for community empowerment and teamwork has made him an important pillar in the progress of the Foundation. His efforts continue to inspire many young people to engage in productive agricultural activities and community service.

Foundation Cassava Garden Project Update – Friday, 8th May 2026

The cassava farming project initiated by Grassroots Impact Foundation in Matholley Village continues to make steady progress as community youths remain fully committed to the development of the farm.

On Wednesday, 25 able and hardworking youths from Matholley Village continued the brushing and clearing of another section of land from the already established cassava field in preparation for the next phase of planting. The exercise is part of the Foundation’s ongoing effort to expand the cassava garden and increase agricultural productivity within the community.

The teamwork, dedication, and commitment shown by the youths demonstrate the community’s strong support towards sustainable agriculture, food security, and youth empowerment. Work is progressing successfully, and more updates will be shared as the project continues to grow.

Together, we are building a stronger and more self-reliant community.

Progress Update on the Foundation’s Cassava Farming Project
On Wednesday, 25 hardworking and dedicated youths from Matholley Village continued the brushing and clearing of an additional section of land within the Foundation’s cassava garden. The exercise is part of the ongoing expansion of the cassava farming project aimed at increasing production and creating more opportunities for community involvement.
The newly cleared area will be prepared for the planting of more cassava as the project continues to grow steadily. The active participation and commitment demonstrated by the youths reflect the community’s determination to support sustainable agriculture and local development initiatives.
