في إطار احتفائنا بيوم المرأة الإماراتية على مدار شهر كامل، نواصل تسليط الضوء على نماذج نسائية ملهمة تسهم من خلال قيادتها وخبراتها والتزامها في تشكيل مستقبل أكثر استدامة.

وفي هذه المجموعة الثانية من القيادات النسائية، نحتفي بكل من معالي شما المزروعي، وزيرة تمكين المجتمع في الإمارات؛ وسعادة د. مريم مطر، مؤسسة ورئيسة جمعية الإمارات للأمراض الجينية؛ وخلود حسن النويس، الرئيس التنفيذي للاستدامة في مؤسسة الإمارات؛ ومريم راشد المزروعي، رئيس تطوير الأعمال والاستثمار في شركة مصدر، ونستعرض رؤاهن حول دور المرأة في دفع مسيرة التقدم، وتعزيز تماسك المجتمعات، وخلق الفرص للأجيال القادمة.

تعكس هذه الرؤى طموح المرأة الإماراتية، وما تقدمه من إمكانات وإسهامات لبناء مستقبل أكثر قوة وشمولاً لدولة الإمارات والمنطقة.





As part of a month-long celebration of Emirati Women’s Day, we continue to recognise the women whose leadership, expertise and commitment are helping to shape a more sustainable future.

In this second collection of reflections, H.E. Shamma bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, UAE Minister of Community Empowerment; H.E. Dr. Maryam Matar, Founder and Chair of the UAE Genetic Diseases Association; Khuloud Hasan Al Nuwais, Chief Sustainability Officer at Emirates Foundation; and Maryam Rashed Al Mazrouei, Head of Business Development and Investment (CIS) at Masdar, reflect on the role women play in driving progress, strengthening communities and creating opportunities for future generations.

Their voices are part of a wider story — one of Emirati women contributing their leadership, experience and ambition to a stronger, more inclusive future for the UAE and beyond.

في يوم المرأة الإماراتية، تتحدث د. لمياء فواز، مدير تنفيذي لجائزة زايد للاستدامة؛ ورزان المبارك، عضو لجنة التحكيم؛ وسعادة د. العنود الحاج العلي، وفاطمة الحلامي، عضوتا لجنة الاختيار، عن دور المرأة في دفع عجلة التقدم، وتعزيز المجتمعات، وإلهام الأجيال القادمة.

Since the founding of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan believed in the capabilities of Emirati women and in their role in building the nation and shaping its future.
Ahead of Emirati Women’s Day, we reflect on his vision, which placed women’s empowerment at the heart of the UAE’s journey of progress and prosperity.
