Operation Smile UAE is recruiting a Student Programs Coordinator to support the next generation of student leaders.

In this role, you will help students and school clubs:
• Understand Operation Smile’s mission
• Complete their onboarding and online learning modules
• Plan awareness and advocacy activities
• Organize responsible fundraising initiatives
• Build confidence through presentations and events
• Develop leadership, empathy, and service-minded action

At Operation Smile UAE, our Student Programs are built on a simple belief:
Young people can create real change when they are motivated by the cause — not by certificates, credits, or service hours.
We are looking for a Student Programs Coordinator who understands this.

The successful candidate will help recruit, onboard, train, and support student volunteers aged mainly 13–18. You will guide students to become confident ambassadors for Operation Smile’s mission and help them take action through school clubs, awareness campaigns, service initiatives, fundraising, and leadership events.

This role may be a strong fit for an entry-level candidate who is:
• Passionate about youth development
• Comfortable working with students and schools
• Able to explain expectations clearly and kindly
• Organized with applications, records, events, and follow-up

From student volunteer to healthcare professional. 💙
Sara Hussein first joined Operation Smile UAE as a student volunteer in 2017.

During a medical program in Abu Dhabi, she saw firsthand how comprehensive cleft care can support a child’s ability to eat, speak and thrive.
That experience helped inspire her to become a Speech and Language Therapist.
Today, Sara gives back as part of the Operation Smile UAE medical volunteer community.

This is why student programs matter.
When young people are given the opportunity to learn, serve and connect with healthcare professionals, they begin to see how their own future can contribute to the wellbeing of others.

Help students create a ripple effect of good across the UAE. 💙

This August, Operation Smile UAE will host the 2nd Operation Smile MENA Student Conference in Abu Dhabi.

We will bring together 75 high school student leaders, ages 15–18, for four days of learning, leadership and service.

Students will learn about:

💙 cleft conditions
💙 comprehensive cleft care
💙 oral health and hygiene
💙 speech development
💙 nutrition support
💙 psychosocial care
💙 advocacy and awareness
💙 community service

They will return to their schools and communities with new knowledge, stronger confidence and practical tools to lead awareness activities and service projects.
