🇦🇪🇺🇸 Abu Dhabi and America: A Two-Way Partnership
Last night, AmCham Abu Dhabi hosted Abu Dhabi and America: A Two-Way Partnership. The session featured panelists Reem Alshamsi (Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Mohammed Sultan Almheiri (G42), Hamad Al Faheem (ADGM), Fahad Al Mheiri (Boeing), Daniel Mouton (Lockheed Martin), Gregg Welch (Parsons Corporation), Emira Socorro (PGIM), Jaspreet Randhawa (Burkhan World Investments), and Aasma Azhar Khan (Ethmar International Holding).
Participants included senior executives, founders, and owners representing U.S. multinationals, defense contractors, financial institutions, and government trade bodies, alongside UAE entities and regional entrepreneurs, with a strong diplomatic presence. The conversation spanned trade facilitation, investment, technology, and defense-industrial partnerships.
Across both panels, a clear message emerged: capital continues to flow in both directions; AI is rapidly becoming a defining pillar of the partnership; and long-term success in either market is built on trust, local presence, and long-term commitment rather than transactional engagement.
The discussion also reinforced Abu Dhabi’s position as a strategic destination for American business and highlighted the continued expansion of the Abu Dhabi–U.S. corridor across investment, technology, energy, healthcare, defense, and financial services, creating new opportunities for organizations on both sides.
AmCham Abu Dhabi thanks Deputy Assistant Secretary Mark Mitchell, Chairwoman Lina Lampkin, moderator Dr. Bhaskar Dasgupta, the distinguished speakers, and everyone who joined us from the U.S. and the UAE.
