As we celebrate the successful completion of the first month of training, we recognize the commitment, enthusiasm and determination demonstrated by our trainees so far. Every new skill learned, every challenge overcome and every day spent in training brings them one step closer to achieving their goals. With 3 months still ahead, we look forward to witnessing their continued growth, confidence, creativity and transformation.

Shekinah Glory Skills Training Center

On 1 September 2026, we proudly welcomed our 9th and final skills training cohort for the year, marking the beginning of another exciting journey of learning, empowerment and opportunity.

A total of 90 trainees enrolled in sewing, welding, and carpentry, taking an important step toward developing practical skills that can open doors to greater self reliance and future livelihood opportunities. This intake is particularly special as it has also brought new partnerships, strengthening our collective efforts to equip young people with skills that can positively shape their futures and communities.

The journey has just begun and we look forward to another successful milestone.

God's case.....

Our little guy has grown and is making us proud. He is not just intelligent academically, he is also a promising athlete having participated in the paralympic games recently held in Marondera.

I thank God for his grace and provision, we have managed to keep him in a boarding school for 5 years. It has not been easy but God has been faithful with provisions. God has given us staff that have committed to es**rt him to school and pick him up for the holidays. Staff who have stood in the gap as parents and visited him in school.

We continue to give God all the glory🙏

Today, the Shekinah Glory Organisation hosted members of the Student Representative Council (SRC) team from Midlands State University (MSU). The visiting team shared an uplifting spiritual message with the Shekinah Family and generously donated a range of essential household items, clothing, and groceries to support the center's operations and community support initiatives.

Shekinah Skills Training Center

Meet our Skills Training Intake 8 Sewing Champion, Rachel Gundura.

At just 15 years old, Rachel was the youngest trainee in her cohort and sewing course. Her age did not deter her from giving her very best. Through her dedication, determination and hard work, Rachel demonstrated outstanding performance throughout the training.

In recognition of her remarkable achievement, Rachel received a manual sewing machine as a token of appreciation for her exceptional performance. This sewing machine will give her an opportunity to continue developing her skills and importantly take the first steps towards establishing her own small sewing enterprise when she returns home.

Rachel's journey is a reminder that age is no barrier to learning, excellence and ambition. With the right skills, determination and support, young people can begin building a brighter and more self reliant future.

Congratulations Rachel, we are proud of your achievement and wish you every success as you turn your newly acquired skills into oportunities for the future.

Shekinah Skills Training Center

On 14 August 2026, we marked another important milestone as we bid farewell to 85 trainees from the Skills Training Intake 8 following the successful completion of their training. Parents and stakeholders joined us to celebrate the occassion and recognize the trainees' dedication and achievements. We sincerely appreciate the financial contribution from Australian Embassy, Zimbabwe Direct Aid Program (DAP) which provided material for this project.

We congratulate our graduates and wish them every success as they apply their newly acquired skills and pursue future oportunities.
