Greetings, we want to appreciate all who have donated towards our fundraising campaign by Remit Hope. The campaign is ongoing and will end on 24 April 2026. To date, a total of USD$9,300 has been raised against the targeted USD$20,000.

Shekinah Glory Children's Home

The construction of two additional cluster homes at Shekinah Glory Children's Home has been completed. The project was funded by Barnabas Aid - International. Construction of the two cluster homes commenced in January 2026 and was finalized by April 5, 2026.

This expansion will increase the accommodation capacity of the children's home from twenty to forty children, thereby enhancing the services provided by Shekinah, the only children's home in the district, at a time when such services are greatly required.

The official opening of the cluster houses is scheduled for April 30, 2026.

We recently visited our preschool project in Sanyati, where we witnessed the power of partnering with the local community to establish developmental projects. The project has brought together people from ten villages to work together to make this dream come true.

The preschool opened its doors this year, January 2026 and currently has an enrolment of 59 students. The preschool was established to reduce the walking distance that preschoolers had to endure to attend school. The nearest school is 7km one way and for years this community had to accept this way of life. This school project is the joy and news on every's mouth.

When we visited the school, we witnessed the dedication and excitement of both the teachers and and the students. The community was around as they commit two days a week this farming season to clear tree stumps in preparation for the construction of classroom blocks which should commence after the farming season.

We sincerely invite philanthropists and well wishers to support this noble cause. We would not want these children to attend classes in the open again next year. We appreciate your support in advance.

Today, our trainees at the Skills Training Centre had an impactful learning session conducted by the Zimbabwe Republic Police .

The lecture focused on drug and substance abuse awareness, sexual offences prevention, and crime reporting mechanisms. Officers educated the trainees on the dangers and long-term effects of drug abuse, the importance of making responsible life choices, and understanding the law regarding sexual offences. Practical guidance was shared on how to report crime safely and the role young people can play in protecting themselves and their communities.

This session equipped our trainees with valuable knowledge to help them stay safe, make informed decisions, and build positive futures beyond their skills training. We encourage all trainees to apply what they learned today and to become ambassadors of safety and responsible behavior in their communities.

We sincerely thank the Zimbabwe Republic Police for their continued support in empowering our youth.
