Compliments of the New Year. As we begin 2026, we are excited to welcome all young peoplein our programs to resume our Skills Youth Programs at ICAF-IGNITE. This year, we continue empowering youth by providing practical skills that build confidence and open doors for income-generating projects, while also supporting academic and career development and nurturing individual talents.

Our programs aim to equip young people with the tools to succeed in school, explore their unique abilities, and prepare for future opportunities, while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and leadership skills. I look forward to working together with our youth, parents, and community partners to transform potential into real success in 2026 and beyond.

Impact Change Africa Foundation – New Year 2026 Youth Open Day Engagement

On 3rd January 2026, we kicked off the year in the best way possible – by connecting with our youth at the ICAF-IGNITE Creative Connections Youth - New Year Youth Open Day 3 January 2026 Youth Reflection- Goal Setting- Back To School Focus

The day was full of energy, learning, and reflection. Our young people participated in an interactive quiz that challenged their knowledge and sparked healthy competition.

Together, we engaged in goal setting and planning, discussing successes, challenges, lessons learnt, and dreams for the year ahead. The event also celebrated a Back-to-School spirit, with Back-to-School prizes awarded to the top five achievers, recognizing their focus, determination, and participation.

As we step out of 2025 into 2026, ICAF-IGNITE Creative Connections stands with our young people, families, and community, reaffirming our commitment to encouraging education, inspiring creativity, positive engagement, and purpose-driven living among our young people.

We are excited to invite members of the ICAF-IGNITE Creative Connections Youth Hub to join our Youth Day Creative Connections Meeting, a day dedicated to:
1. Reflecting and Planning for 2026
2. Setting personal and academic goals
3. Reflecting on achievements and lessons from 2025
4. Thankful for life and celebrating birthdays for December 2025 and January 2026

As part of the day, youth members will take part in a fun, interactive, and educational Word Search Challenge, designed to encourage learning through play, strengthen positive values, and inspire a focused, confident, and purpose-driven start to the new year.

2025 YEAR REFLECTION | INAUGURAL LAUNCH OF LIONHEART DART CLUB – BOYS • GIRLS • SENIORS ❤️🎯

Igniting Potential | Inspiring Possibilities | Building Futures — Because It Takes a Village

As we come to the close of 2025, ICAF-IGNITE reflects with deep gratitude on a year marked by purpose, growth, and meaningful impact. One of our most significant milestones was the Inaugural Launch of the ICAF-IGNITE Creative Connections Youth Dart Club, proudly named LIONHEART DART CLUB.

On 5 December 2025, we officially launched a darts sport mentorship programme designed to keep young people positively engaged, reduce idleness, and steer them away from harmful practices. Through structured sport, mentorship, and community support, the programme strengthens discipline, coordination, concentration, strategic thinking, teamwork, confidence, leadership, and social responsibility.

This initiative supports improved mental health among young people by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, while enhancing concentration, memory, and goal-setting skills that directly contribute to academic achievement and personal development.

By creating safe and positive spaces, the club nurtures self-esteem, resilience, emotional regulation, and perseverance, while teaching collaboration, communication, respect, and teamwork. Participants gain leadership experience, build positive peer networks, and develop a balanced sense of identity. Structured training and competitions provide productive engagement, mentorship promotes accountability, and the club environment fosters community engagement, civic responsibility, and exposure to scholarship and opportunity pathways at local, national, and international levels.

This milestone reaffirms our belief that it truly takes a village to raise and empower a child. The launch brought together youth, parents, seniors, community leaders, business partners, and supporters, united in the shared commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces for young people.

ICAF-IGNITE Youth Engagement Day — 8th November 2025

What an absolutely amazing and inspiring day with our talented young people at the ICAF-IGNITE Youth Creative Connections Youth Hub.

The day was filled with creativity, confidence, and connection as our youth explored Modelling, Dancing, and Visual Arts, sharing artworks and visual design ideas with our vibrant visual artists, dance choreographers, model coaches, and clothing brand creators from among the youth.

We also took quality time to dive deep into an empowering Youth Discussion on Academics and Career Growth, encouraging each other to stay focused in school, study hard, and see how academic excellence directly links to skills development and talents, as our educational curriculum in Zimbabwe makes practical subjects a priority. Many of our youth and young adults who did practical subjects at school felt inclined to pursue their passions in the practical subjects along their academic careers,

It was inspiring to see so many young minds realizing that education, creativity, and talent together open doors to a brighter and more purposeful futures and staying away from harmful practices was a MUST.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, our youth leaders and mentors at ICAF IGNITE. You all made the day so special. Your energy, passion, and teamwork truly lit up the space.
