Gweru - Police acted on a tip off regarding the whereabouts of three armed suspects.The Police then tracked down the suspects to a service station in Gweru,The suspects opened fire after being spotted by police, leading to the shootout.
Two of the Robbers were injured and were referred to hospital where there were pronounced dead upon admission,
One suspect, managed to escape during the commotion.

Police recovered a 9mm Canik pistol with two live rounds and an Ekol 9mm blank pistol with two blank cartridges.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police is investigating a case of armed robbery which occurred on 04 March 2026 at around 0708 hours at a financial services outlet, located along Jason Moyo Street, between 8th and 9th Ave.

The total amount stolen was US$78,141.00 and ZAR 501,820.00.

Police are appealing to members of the public for information that may assist with ongoing investigations.

Kadoma - A armed robber shot and killed a police officer in Sanyati police station then stormed into the charge office, pointing his gun at civilians and robbed them.
The suspects violent spree came to an end when residents in Sanyati, Kadoma, Chakari and Patchway teamed up with police and arrested the suspect

The suspect is also accused of shooting Detective from CID Homicide, who was part of the team tracking him for the murder of businessman in August 2025

Harare, On thr 21 Aug around 9pm, six armed robbers gained entry into the premises at a house along Bertram Road in Milton Park. The suspects captured the security guard and disarmed him. They broke into the house and demanded cash from the complainants. After ransacking the house, they took cash and a Toyota Hilux.

The vehicle was later recovered near the scene.

Karoi - Police have arrested two foreign nationals, in connection with a string of armed robbery cases in Harare and surrounding areas on the 9th March 2025 a special task force comprising of detectives and the Police Special Tactics team tracked the suspects to Karoi town

When the task force team spoted the suspects near Spar Karoi, the suspects attempted to flee, sparking a high-speed chase that escalated into a shootout with police.

The police managed to disarm the armed robbers and recovered a white Mercedes Benz, two Pistol, as well as other items.

Harare - Five Armed robbers pounced on a company in Workington industrial area along Lytton Road, on Thursday night attacking the security detaill who was on duty at the company before breaking into the offices and got away with US$120,400 cash.
