Sisters of the Child Jesus-SJI Gweru Diocese

It was with heavy hearts and solemn reverence that the sisters of the Child Jesus gathered in large numbers last week to lay to rest one of their own, Sr. Imelda. She was a true heroine of faith a devoted teacher who sowed the seeds of the Gospel in schools, and a dedicated formator who shaped lives with wisdom and grace for many years.

Today, as we continue to celebrate her life, we give thanks for her immense contribution to the congregation and to the wider Church. Her legacy of love and service will not be forgotten.

Rest in peace, dear Sr. Imelda. Until we meet again.
