On Friday, 6 March, Mhuriyemoto Foundation hosted a Clean-Up Campaign at the Gazebo Local Council Offices under the Harare Sustainable Cities Initiative, bringing together community members, partners, and stakeholders who are passionate about protecting our environment. The campaign resulted in the collection of significant amounts of waste, improved cleanliness around the council premises, and increased awareness on responsible waste management within the community.We extend our sincere appreciation to all stakeholders, partners, volunteers, and community members who dedicated their time and energy to make this campaign a success. Your commitment demonstrates that sustainable communities are built through collaboration and shared responsibility.Together, we continue to take meaningful steps toward a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future.

On Saturday 21 February 2026, MhuriYeMoto proudly participated in the Youth Day function held at Igava Vocational and Training Center in Marondera. The event provided a valuable platform for us to exhibit our business, showcase our work in sustainable waste management, and engage with fellow youth-led initiatives and organizations.Networking with like minded partners and stakeholders continues to strengthen our mission of empowering communities through environmental stewardship, innovation, and economic opportunity.
We are inspired by the energy and collaboration demonstrated today and look forward to building meaningful partnerships that drive lasting impact.

MhuriyeMoto continues to play an active role in promoting responsible waste management through the regular cleaning and maintenance of the gazebo area. This work reflects the often-overlooked contribution of waste pickers , we are not only responding to environmental challenges on the ground but also advocating for inclusive waste management systems that recognize and support grassroots actors. We are reaching out to NGO’s, government stakeholders, and private sector partners to collaborate in strengthening waste management efforts through resources, capacity buildings, and sustainable partnerships. Together we can build cleaner communities while improving livelihoods and environmental outcome.

On Friday 6 February, Mhuriyemoto attended a successful clean-up campaign at Tafara Shops. Community members came together with great enthusiasm go improve the environment and promote cleanliness within the neighborhood. Volunteers worked hand in hand collecting litter, sweeping the surroundings, clearing overgrown areas, and properly disposing waste.
The campaign aimed to create a cleane, safe and more welcoming space for residents to gather and hold community activities.
