From dry land to green hope 🌱
In Matopos District, Matabeleland South Province, where long dry seasons and livestock farming shape rural life, Juncao grass is taking root at Magololo Garden (Ward 12) and Mahlasela Garden (Ward 8).
This phase focuses on Juncao grass cultivation, transforming dry fields into green fodder plots. Juncao grass has a wide range of applications, particularly in livestock feed, land improvement, and sustainable agriculture, supporting more resilient community livelihoods.
