5 days since applications closed for the 2027 program.

The waiting season has begun, hope is a thing with feathers and Hope does not disappoint. While waiting, the mission continues......

The video presented by our team lead Rumbidzai V Kusemwa , who is also advancing her storytelling skills for Landscapes through the 2026 GLF Social Media Ambassadors program; it captures the dream we chose to pursue. One where youth are leading landscapes transformation together with communities.

We believe restoration begins with people and sustains through partnership. Opportunities like help transform our ideas into action, turning passion into lasting impact. They provide mentorship, visibility and the resources to scale local youthled solutions.

Our vision is to transform rural smallholder farms into productive and resilient landscapes. Where youth become custodians of thriving ecosystems; communities restore hope alongside the landscapes.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged this journey. Whatever the outcome, the mission to and continues.

Together, we restoring landscapes for people, planet and prosperity.

More than decades ago, they have been there
Providing food for the family
Bananas, sugarcane, cassava, green leafs, tomatoes, onions, okra
From the surplus, families are earning through sales
The money is used to support various family needs;
Supporting children's Education, buying groceries and medication

Family and community gardens play a key role
However, something is changing
Climate change
Wells which used to support these gardens no longer exists
Sometimes more wells are being established or deepened, especially along or close to the stream (mifuku)
When the last drop disappear, the garden is abandoned

Some seasons, continuous flooding cause widening of streams,
Is it stream bank cultivation or unsustainable farming practices
Nearby trees are cut down to provide garden security or expand the garden
Maybe a livestock path as they trod along the stream in search of water
Probably a community road before the gardens or stream existed
Either way,
Something is changing and we also need to change for good

How can we make things right?
We have stopped asking
We are already responding

Check out our next video clip to know more about how we are committing to and

Artificial Intelligence can transform lives.

But only if its benefits are shared.

With 1 in 3 people lacking internet access, we are working to make digital transformation inclusive.
