Today we celebrate Benjamin “Benjie” Nyandoro, widely known as Nyamasvisva, a visionary promoter, cultural strategist, and one of the organisers behind the Bira reMbira Festival.

Through his platform Jive.Store , which he founded in 2012, Benjie Nyandoro has played a significant role in shaping Zimbabwe’s modern music ecosystem by promoting local artists, organising shows, and building platforms that support Zimbabwean music and creative talent.

Over the years, he has worked closely with several influential Zimbabwean artists, including Jah Prayzah , and previously managed the late musical icon Soul Jah Love, helping structure major performances, strengthen artist brands, and open doors for broader industry recognition. His work behind the scenes has helped position Zimbabwean music on stronger professional and commercial foundations.

Beyond artist promotion, Benjie continues to drive innovation in the events industry. He is the founder of Ticketbay , a digital ticketing platform built to modernise how events are managed in Zimbabwe, allowing organisers to sell and manage tickets online while enabling secure entry through digital ticket scanning and real-time reporting.

Through initiatives like Bira ReMbira , Jive Zimbabwe , and ticketbay, Nyamasvisva continues to connect artists, audiences, and opportunities, strengthening both Zimbabwe’s cultural and the business of the .

Today we celebrate a man whose vision continues to shape the rhythm, structure, and future of Zimbabwe’s creative industry.

Happy Birthday Benjamin Nyandoro, your work continues to move the culture forward.
