Harare Stars FC were all celebrations after managing a draw against the much feared log leaders, Devine FC. The log leaders are apparently stumbling at the last minute. The match ended with both sides grabbing a goal apiece.
OK Avonlea FC proved that their win against giants Devine FC was not a fluke by registering a crucial 2 - 1 win over TK Mobile FC. With this victory, OK Avonlea have placed themselves in a position to challenge for the top 4 with 2 rounds of games remaining for most teams.
FC Nacimento took an early lead, but Club 147 bravely fought back to go 2 - 1 up at half time. The Nacimento boys made some crucial changes bringing in their star players who had been watching from the side lines. The final result of 4 goals to 2 brought immense jubilation to the Nacimento camp and total despair amongst the clubsters.
Mabelreign FC succumbed to an 'embarrassing' defeat at the hands of Real Athletico FC; the team amongst the top lost to a team amongst the bottom. The 1 zero result, however, was not a surprise to many neutrals as the Athletico boys have been building a formidable side all along.
Riverside FC came into the weekend's game determined to change their fortunes. They thought, finally they had managed just that when with a few seconds remaining on the clock, they led 1 zero. Avonlea FC was awarded a very late penalty and the match ended in a 1 all draw.
The encounter between 11 Stars FC and Green Valley FC was mouth watering. After conceding an early goal, 11 Stars never gave in and were relentless in their attack and resolute in their defense. The match ended 4 - 2 in favour of 11 Stars FC.
