We join the Women Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) and the global community in commemorating the International Day of Rural Women, with a focus on ensuring that women with disabilities in rural areas are not overlooked in empowerment initiatives aimed at improving their lives, just like their able-bodied counterparts.

We acknowledge the efforts of WEDO - Zimbabwe chapter, a United Nations member organization, in upholding the principle of No One Is Left Behind by empowering rural women, thereby complementing the government's Leaving No Place Behind principle.
