The symposium brought together policymakers, health professionals, researchers, development partners, civil society, the private sector and young people together to advance the menstrual health agenda in Zimbabwe.

Over two days, participants explored innovative solutions, shared evidence and strengthened partnerships to ensure that every woman and girl can manage menstruation safely, confidently and with dignity.

Because menstrual health is more than a health issue - it is a matter of human rights, education, gender equality and dignity.

We stand in solidarity with Zimbabwean women and girls returning from South Africa and will continue to support their needs. Last month we handed over 1,000 dignity kits to support their health, hygiene, safety and dignity as they arrived home.
