The Government of is accelerating action to end child marriage and harmful practices with the establishment of a National Working Group

As Secretariat of the TWG, & will provide strategic coordination, technical leadership and evidence-based support to strengthen protection systems, prevent child marriage, and expand opportunities for girls’ education, health and development.

Child marriage continues to deny too many girls their rights and futures. UNFPA remains steadfast in supporting government and partners to ensure every girl in Zimbabwe can fulfill her potential and thrive free from harmful practices.

UNFPA Zimbabwe Representative Ms. Miranda Tabifor paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Minister of Hon. Tatenda Mavetera to strengthen strategic collaboration on digital systems, innovation, and data-driven solutions to advance sexual and reproductive health services in Zimbabwe.

The discussions focused on leveraging technology to accelerate national priorities, including ending MaternalDeaths, promoting Youth Led innovation, advancing Gender Equality, and ensuring safe online spaces for all - especially women and girls.

This engagement underscores a shared commitment to harnessing digital transformation for impactful, inclusive, and sustainable development outcomes in line with national priorities. 🇿🇼🤝

The Mobile One-Stop Centre during a visit to Molo community, delivering integrated GBV and Sexual and Reproductive Health services, alongside much-needed psychosocial support.

A multisectoral team, including a case worker, legal officer, health nurse, the and a police officer from the Victim Friendly Unit engaged the community in awareness sessions on & cancers, , and the prevention of GBV

The Mobile One-Stop Centre continues to ensure accessible, coordinated, and survivor-centred services for rural communities in Bubi District, leaving no one behind.
