In writing this book, my intention is to connect with women readers and reflect a part of their own experiences. I hope that through my words, they can find solace in knowing they are not alone. Like many women, I have personally traversed the realms of marriage, divorce, breakups, and the complexities of dating in the modern era, all while yearning to find true love. After the dissolution of my m

arriage, I found myself trapped in a cycle of pursuing the wrong men and attempting to salvage incompatible relationships. I became skilled at justifying their actions, accommodating their needs, and compromising my own. Fear of rejection drove me to bend over backward to please them, even defending their behavior and lack of commitment, all because I dreaded the feeling of loneliness. Although I may have projected an image of strength and independence, I had relinquished my personal power and lost sight of my identity. I had compromised my own worth, values, and standards in order to have someone to lean on, share meals with, and hold me close on those chilly nights. Taking the necessary time to heal and rebuild myself was an integral part of breaking free from years of unhealthy dating patterns. I had to learn to be content with being single so that when the time came to embark on a new relationship, I would not compromise my true self again. Healthy relationships are built upon a foundation of self-love, healing from past wounds, and liberating oneself from societal expectations surrounding relationships. The aim of these conversations is to guide you through the journey of being single while fostering self-discovery. This book encourages personal accountability and shares dating insights that you may not have realised you needed. Rather than presenting myself as an expert, my goal is to be seen as a woman who actively engages in self-improvement on a daily basis and has valuable insights to offer.

One of my favourite things to do is to see my people win and you have been on a roll and I’m so proud of you!

Breaking glass ceilings takes more than ambition, it takes community. I had the privilege of hosting and moderating an inspiring conversation with two remarkable leaders shaping Zimbabwe’s business landscape: Yevai Makoni, Managing Director of Just Property, and Revesayi Nyahasha, founder of Eazzypay.
From navigating male-dominated industries to building impactful, purpose-driven businesses, these women shared honest insights on what it really takes to grow, lead, and stay grounded along the way.

The She-EO Launch Event, held at The Residence Hotel in Borrowdale, Harare, was more than just a gathering, it marked the beginning of a powerful movement. Set in an atmosphere of elegance and intention, the event brought together female founders, executives, and rising leaders committed to reshaping the future of business.

✨ Featured Guests:
Yevai Makoni, A trailblazer in real estate, leading with integrity and innovation.
Revesayi Nyahasha, A fintech disruptor transforming the way we transact in a digital world.
As the evening unfolded, one thing stood out: the future of leadership is collaborative, conscious, and boldly female. This wasn’t just a panel discussion, it was a moment of connection, inspiration, and shared purpose.

Here’s to creating spaces where women support, uplift, and lead together. We hope this conversation leaves you inspired to step into your own She-EO journey with clarity and confidence.

Still soaking in the beauty of this new chapter 🤍

A day later, and my heart is even fuller. Thank you for the love, the messages, the prayers, and the kind words, they’ve reminded me just how surrounded I am.

This season feels different… more intentional, more grounded, more aligned. I’m learning to celebrate not just the big milestones, but the quiet growth, the obedience, and the becoming.

Here’s to walking in purpose, even when the path isn’t always clear. Here’s to faith over fear, and trusting that every step is ordered.

Chapter Thirty-Fine 🥂

Stepping into this new year of life with so much gratitude. Moving from the UK to Zimbabwe was more than just a change of location, it was the beginning of a new chapter, one that continues to stretch, shape, and reveal me.

At 35, I’m walking boldly in who I am as a woman. I’m embracing the journey of building, of farming, of standing on my own, and of trusting God every step of the way. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been purposeful.

I’m excited to keep discovering who God has called me to be, to grow deeper in faith, and to make a meaningful impact right here in Zimbabwe. This is only the beginning.

Grateful for life. Grateful for growth. Grateful for grace. 🤍

Take me back to

The Gospel music scene in Zimbabwe is truly something special 🇿🇼

I loved every single moment, seeing the very artists I grew up listening to minister live left me in awe. What a powerful reminder of God’s love and presence through music.

We need more moments like this… moments that uplift, unite, and draw us closer to Him.

To God be all the glory!

Thank you for having us 🤍 today was nothing short of amazing!

I genuinely never knew what my skin truly needed until today… and that just shows what happens when a brand actually understands our skin. Over 80 years of perfecting products made with Black women in mind? That level of expertise deserves respect 👏🏾

You can tell when something is created for you and not just marketed to you, and today confirmed that for me.

I’m so excited to start this journey and see the results for myself! ✨

Tell me… have you ever used products that actually understand your skin like this? What’s been your experience? 👇🏾

What a privilege it was to work with on this project. It truly pushed me out of my comfort zone in ways I didn’t expect.

I left Zimbabwe at a very young age, so I never really had the chance to fully learn how to read Shona. I could speak it, yes, but anyone who knows the language will tell you that reading it can be quite challenging. When I was cast for a role that required both English and Shona, I’ll be honest… fear crept in. For a moment I even considered turning the role down because I didn’t feel “ready.”

But then I remembered something powerful: sometimes the very things that scare us are the doors God is asking us to walk through.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

So I chose faith over fear. What felt impossible at first became possible, and I’m incredibly proud of myself for stepping up to the challenge and giving it my all.

To anyone who has ever felt limited, unprepared, or afraid to step into something bigger than them, don’t let fear make the decision for you. Growth often lives on the other side of discomfort.

I can’t wait for the release, and I’m grateful for every opportunity that stretches me into the person God is calling me to become. 🙏🏽
