We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who gave a helping hand during our winter donation drive at Silverhills Primary School in Mhangura Rural.

This drive is one of our annual winter campaigns dedicated to bringing warmth and dignity to children from less privileged backgrounds. This year with your support, we were able to donate 63 pairs of shoes and socks to deserving learners ensuring they face the cold months with comfort and care.

In partnership with Precious Children's Arts Organisation , we also donated books, pens, pencils, rulers, exercise book covers to equip learners as well as reflective vests to children who walk long distances to school. The aim is simply to keep them visible to motorists and protect them from road accidents on their daily journey.

We regret our delay in sharing this update. During the trip, we experienced an unfortunate incident where the devices containing all our photos, videos and records were stolen.

To every volunteer and partner thank you. Your compassion is changing lives.

Day of the African Child: 16 June

As Chedenga Foundation today we remember 16 June 1976, when thousands of children in Soweto marched for the right to be taught in their own language and for quality education. They carried banners not weapons. They demanded dignity not war.

Many paid the ultimate price but their courage changed history.

We honor them by protecting the right they fought for: every African child learning in dignity, safe and supported.
