We just learnt of the devastating news of the passing on of Reuben,Sinikiwe's husband. Our thoughts are with the family and one of the greatest supporters TEO Events who worked tirelessly in order to save Rueben. Teo Events used to mobilize for some resources to support Rueben 's medical expenses, such kind of a gesture is truly rare. We are heartbroken. A Teenager who is set to write her O'Level Exams this year, gave birth to some preterm twin girls. The Doctors recommended the use of NAN Infant Formula. Breastfeeding is a challenge since the mother is not producing enough for the twins. The father of the twins is also a teenager and is also set to write his O'LEVEL exams next month. He sorely rely on his parents for the fees and upkeep is not also able to raise some funds to buy NAN Infant Formula which is pegged at US$10 per tin of which a tin can feed the kids for 3 days only.

Twins are a blessing but a blessing associated with some challenges.

Let's continue doing good in supporting the twins community.

Appreciation Post

We would like to thank and appreciate one of our partners, for their support towards Mwaona twins who lost their mother during birth. The partners donated NAN Infant Formula, Diapers and clothes.

The father of the twins is working hard for the upkeep of the 3 weeks old twins. Thumps to Gogo of twins and other stakeholders for supporting the twins.

We really need to up our game and mobilize for support for our members who are loosing their mothers during birth.

A very touching story , the mother of twins neglected or abandoned her kids at 1 year 6 months for an unknown reason.

The grandmother of the kids who is their father's mother is the one who was taking care of them. Unfortunately the twins ' father is into drugs and this resulted in worsening the situation since the Grandmother who is at her Early 80s is not gainfully employed.

The Twins Association of Zimbabwe - TAZI Founders met with the family and blessed them with some goodies. They also pledged to support them in their Educational welfare.

Africa Twins 2nd Summit preparations going on well. Africa Twins Association

The Afrieca Twins Association is calling on all twins and multiple births, including lovers of twins, to join us and attend the upcoming unforgettable second Africa Twins Summit scheduled for 20th-22nd November 2026, in Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone.

Preparation for engagement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the House of Parliament of Sierra Leone and awareness creation through media engagement went very well. Congratulations to us all. Thanks to the Government of Sierra Leone for the warm acceptance of the delegation.
