Pahukamahwedu Youth Association Zimbabwe statement on the Day of the African Child!
On this Day of the African Child, PaHukamahwedu Youth Association stands in solidarity with children across Africa, advocating for their rights, education, and well-being. As we commemorate this important day, we recognize the potential and promise that African children hold. Their energy, creativity, and resilience inspire us to work tirelessly towards creating a brighter future for them, where they can grow, learn, and thrive.
We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, healthcare, and protection. We envision a future where African children are empowered to become the leaders and change-makers of tomorrow, driving innovation, progress, and positive change.
As PaHukamahwedu Youth Association Zimbabwe, we reaffirm our commitment to supporting and amplifying the voices of African children. We call on governments, organizations, and individuals to join us in this endeavor, working together to:
- Ensure every child has access to quality education, empowering them to reach their full potential.
- Provide healthcare and nutrition support, safeguarding their well-being and development.
- Protect children from exploitation, abuse, and violence, creating a safe and nurturing environment.
