🎯 Meet Chipo Kavhumbura from Bindura, sharing her reflections after participating in the CLS, conducted in partnership with the
Centre for Human Rights, the University of Pretoria, Trocaire, Brot für die Welt.

➡️ Chipo emphasized the vital importance of accountability and highlighted that a thorough understanding of the constitution is essential for young people and emerging leaders. She believes that constitutional awareness empowers youth to stand their ground and confidently defend their rights.

🌍The most impactful youth policies are not written for young people—they are shaped by them.

Young people deserve more than a seat at the table—they deserve to help shape the policies that define their future.

The Youth Accountability Initiative (YAI) is excited to convene the first Youth Accountability Roundtable under the Regional Policy Lab, bringing together youth organizations supported by the Youth Democracy Network to consolidate efforts around the proposed Youth Bill.

The Roundtable will create space for dialogue, collaboration, and collective action while advancing the Shadow Youth Bill developed by WELEAD-Africa Regional under the What Youth Want Project.

Together, we can strengthen youth participation in governance and build a Youth Bill that truly reflects the aspirations of Zimbabwe’s young people.
