Stakeholders Meeting Update – Ruwa Community

We recently attended a stakeholders meeting in Ruwa where key discussions focused on HIV prevention and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), with a strong emphasis on strengthening community-based responses and improving health outcomes.

The meeting brought together different partners and community representatives to reflect on current challenges and explore practical approaches that can enhance prevention, awareness, and early intervention within the community. Key areas of focus included strengthening health education, improving access to services and building coordinated local responses that are sustainable and inclusive.

As an organisation, we are now reflecting on how best we can effectively operate in Ruwa, ensuring that our interventions are aligned with community needs and national health priorities. Moving forward, we aim to strengthen collaboration with local stakeholders, support awareness programs, and design practical interventions that address both HIV prevention and NCDs at grassroots level.

We remain committed to building healthier and more informed communities through partnerships, education, and action-oriented programs.

🌍 Africa Day reminds us of the importance of unity, freedom, culture and development across the African continent.

It is a day to celebrate our identity as Africans, honor the struggles of our forefathers against colonialism, and appreciate the rich diversity, strength, and potential of Africa.

Africa Day also encourages Africans to work together in building peaceful, empowered, and prosperous communities for future generations. ✊🏾❤️💛💚
