💜 Belated World Prematurity Day Post 💜

We’re sharing this a little later than expected due to some technical challenges — but the memories from World Prematurity Day 2025 at Chitungwiza Central Hospital are still fresh in our hearts. 💜✨

On 17 November 2025, we had the honour of being part of this special commemoration. It was a day filled with love, strength, and testimonies of courage from families who have walked the NICU journey.

As a trust, we were grateful for the opportunity to donate a few items towards the event and to stand in solidarity with other parents, healthcare workers, and community members. One of the most touching moments was seeing my son, alongside other miracle babies, recognised as one of the guest babies of the day — a beautiful reminder of how far our little fighters have come.

We also had a chance to share our own NICU experience and to speak about the vision of our trust:

➡️ creating a strong community of hope and empowerment

To every preemie parent out there — you are strong, you are brave, and you are not alone.
To our babies — you are living miracles.
And to the Chitungwiza Central Hospital NNU team — thank you for your dedication and compassion.

🌸 November — A Month That Changed Everything for Me 🌸

For a long time, November was just another month on the calendar. But everything changed last year when I welcomed my precious preterm baby into the world. 💜

What once felt like an ordinary month has now become one filled with deep meaning and gratitude. November is World Prematurity Awareness Month — a time to honour the tiny fighters who arrive earlier than expected, and the brave families who walk that delicate journey of hope, faith, and love.

My own story reminds me that miracles come in the smallest packages, and strength often shows up when we least expect it. 💪👶

As we enter this special month, let’s come together to raise awareness, share our stories, and stand with every family whose baby made an early arrival.
