1. Poverty was punishment from God as a result of sin
- meaning when you have your sins forgiven you won't experience poverty
2. Sin caused a person to be more conscious of the flesh than the spirit
- when you see physical things bothering you, then know you are living more in the flesh than the spirit
- Adam ran from God after sinning but David ran to God after sinning. Who you run to shows where your focus is.

3. Success is spiritual
- if you are not succeeding, something is spiritually wrong.
- therefore, fight in the spi rit until you make it
- prayer helps you fight poverty

shifts you from a spiritual realm to a fleshly realm
to God not the situation
tithing red moves you from a place of provision

Tithing
1. Obedience
2. Spending time with God ( the moment you can't spare money for Him you cant spare time for Him).
3. ,It helps keep us in the presence of God
4. It helps us be spiritual
5. It brings destiny helpers (as the 4rivers of the garden of Eden)
6. it is about commitment to God

became spiritual because he made a vow before God. Even if it took him 6yrs to get there.
needs a person who honours their obligations
needs consistency
is not complete if there are no financial obligations met
Things to make sure of..be committed to:
Offering
Tithe
Parents' welfare
Welfare (orphans, widows, vulnerable)
Pastor's welfare
